There's no pack that's more perfect for your social Sims than The Sims 4: Get Together. You're able to dance together, go out to nightclubs together, and more. The biggest feature introduced with Get Together is clubs, which allow your Sim to join up with like-minded friends.

Clubs feature tons of customizations that you can use, and they're perfect for Sims who are looking to make new friends. But clubs can be a bit daunting to jump into if you're prompted out of the blue by a Sim you've never seen. Once you know how they work, though, you can get the most out of them for your Sims.

How To Join Or Create A Club

To join an existing club or create your own, enter Live Mode. From there, hit the social groups icon next to the needs panel. You can then choose clubs from the available social groups, which include groups like university organizations and wolf packs. Choose clubs, and simply select Join a Club.

From here, you can either choose from the list of clubs to join or choose to make your own. While most clubs are open invitations, some require you to send a request. Other clubs have specific specifications you need to meet before you can join, like a skill level.

If you send a request, you'll need to wait a while before you get a response.

Sometimes, you'll receive random pop-ups throughout the day inviting you to join a specific club. These will come from the club leader. These will come more often if you perform activities that the club does, such as reading or dancing.

Creating Your Own Club

If you choose to start your own club, you'll immediately be the club leader. You can choose every aspect of the club, including:

  • Club name and description.
  • Club icon.
  • Club members.
  • Club hangout.
  • Club activities.
  • Banned activities.
  • Requirements to join the club.

You'll also be able to set restrictions on who can join the club, such as age. Once you've chosen all the attributes for the club, simply hit the checkmark in the bottom right corner to start your club.

How To Become Club Leader

While if you've created your own club, you'll be the leader, if you join another, there will already be a club leader that exists. If you want to become the leader of the club, you'll need to convince them to step down and take their place. To do this successfully, you'll need to have a high relationship with the leader.

You can easily find the club leader at club gatherings. While all members of the club will have the club icon floating above them, the club leader will have a golden crown above theirs. Use lots of friendly socializations to build up your relationship with them.

You'll need to be very close friends to convince them to step down as the leader. Try to bring the friendly relationship bar almost completely full before trying it. This is the most surefire way to become the new club leader.

Once you've built up the relationship enough, click on the leader, and choose Clubs. Then, you can click Convince Leader to Step Down. Once you successfully convince them to step down as the club leader, this will make your Sim the new club leader.

You can use this interaction at any time, but it is far less likely to work if you aren't good friends with the current club leader.

Uses For The Club System

Much like real clubs, Sims 4 clubs make it easy for Sims to meet friends with similar interests. All clubs have club activities, which are actions that club members should perform together, as well as banned activities that Sims in the club won't perform. If your Sim likes to read, for example, there are plenty of bookworms in the Avant Gardes to meet, and other clubs are the same.

Clubs are also a great way for your Sim to easily meet up with their friends. Each club has a club hangout where they'll meet to spend time together. Your Sim cancall a meeting whenever they want, and all Sims in the club will appear and stay at the hangout until the meeting is ended.

How To Unlock Club Perks

Clubs also have club perks, which can give any club members special modifiers. While some perks are simple like a club handshake and clothing items featuring the club logo, others come with big bonuses. This includes social bonuses, such as instantly becoming liked upon meeting, skill bonuses to gain skills faster, and vibes that affect member's moods.

To unlock club perks, you'll need to spend club points. Club points can be earned by completing club activities. If one of your club activities is dancing, when your club members dance, they'll earn club points.

Once you have enough points, head into the Club Details menu and choose Buy Club Perks by clicking on the medal button. This will bring up the various club perks. To choose which ones you want, simply click on them, and then hit the checkmark button at the bottom right. This will unlock the club perk for use.

How To Disband A Club

To disband a club, all you need to do is to go into the Club Details menu. This is found under the social groups tab, then next to the title of the club, you'll see the gear icon button. Then, in the bottom left corner, there will be a trash can icon. This is the button to disband the club. Click the disband club button, and confirm it.

It's important to know that you can only disband a club when your Sim is the club leader. If they aren't the club leader, they're free to leave the club, but they cannot disband the entire group.

Clubs are a great way for your Sim to meet new friends, hang out with others, or begin their own cult.
