As a general rule of thumb in The Witcher 3, Geralt can find Witcher Contracts just about anywhere. While his employers come from all walks of life in the Northern Realms, Blood and Wine brings Geralt into contact with a new set of employers. Vintners, wine merchants, if there could be anything more Toussaint. If you're looking for monster-hunting work, you'll be hard-pressed to find any as plentiful as Blood and Wine's Vintner's Contracts.

This guide will help you find all five Vintner's Contracts and give you an idea of what to expect from each one. They aren't the toughest hunts, but they'll give you some coin regardless.

Vintner's Contracts Explained

Vintner's Contracts are Blood and Wine's version of Witcher Contracts. You'll find a wine merchant in Toussaint and offer to help them with a monster-related problem plaguing their business.

In the usual fashion, you will have a chance to negotiate your pay before heading inside to exterminate whichever monster has ruined their day.

These quests aren't as complex as the other Witcher Contracts. There is no following tracks or slowly figuring out what you're fighting. Instead, you simply walk into the monster's den, kill whatever you find, and leave.

These contracts are scattered around Toussaint, in various places where vintners have encountered monsters.

Vintner's Contract: Chuchote Cave

This contract is in the northern part of Toussaint, just south of the Castel Ravello Vineyard Fast Travel point. You'll find the vintner by his cart, clearly looking for a witcher.

He asks Geralt to rid a nearby cave of arachnomorphs. There are just six of the spider-like monsters inside the cave.

The tight confines of the cave make bombs and Whirl good options for dealing with the monsters.

You can collect your reward after killing the monsters.

Vintner's Contract: Cleaning Those Hard-to-Reach Places

You can find this contract in the southeast of Toussaint. A good way to reach it would be to Fast Travel to Casteldaccia Abandoned Estate and follow the bridge south, before going west, toward a ridge.

This vintner is outside a cave, looking for his missing clerk. He suspects that the elven ruins surrounding the cave had something to do with his employee's disappearance.

He's correct. There are two gargoyles inside the cave. The first is visible from the entrance, while the second is in a tunnel, south of the entrance.

Gargoyles can use poisonous breath against Geralt. This can be countered by drinking Golden Oriole to nullify the damage.

Vintner's Contract: Dun Tynne Hillside

Look to the hills north of Dun Tynne Castle, in the south of Toussaint. You can find the vintner for this contract at a cave in the hills, nursing a wound.

While he's in a foul mood, he quickly hires Geralt to kill the monsters inside the cave.

You'll find three giant centipedes inside the cave. The unpleasant creatures are spread around the entrance to the structure, with the first one fought alone and with the subsequent pair fighting together.

You can use Yrden to trap the giant centipedes when they are about to burst from the ground.

There is a Blood-smeared diary on a skeleton inside the cave, written by a man who had the same idea as the vintner outside, with less luck.

Vintner's Contract: Duchaton Crest

This contract is just south of Rioux-Cannes Outpost, down the hill.

This might be the toughest contract in the set. You'll be fighting a shaelmaar, the same species of monster from The Beast Of Toussaint, from the very start of the expansion.

This shaelmaar is far weaker than the first one you battled. The same tricks apply, try to have it slam into walls to have opportunities to strike at its soft, unprotected underbelly. Samum and Aard can serve as effective decoys.

Vintner's Contract: Rivecalme Storehouse

This vintner is outside his storehouse on the east side of Toussaint's river, at the west of Dulcinea Windmill, not far from the Fast Travel point.

He'll ask Geralt to remove the monsters infesting his new investment. They are just a pack of ghouls, which you can easily kill.
