One of the most important features of any pirate is their ship, and in Skull and Bones, there isn't much that takes more priority than upgrading and outfitting your vessel to your liking. Being well-equipped with the most effective armor and weapons is vital to your success on the high seas, and having access to the item Monstrous Tooth is a key component in your rise to infamy.

These tips will get you on your journey to becoming a fearsome pirate.
PostsMonstrous Tooth is a Specialized Material acquired through killing the sea monster, Kuharibu. Plenty of the game's equipment requires a good amount of Monstrous Tooth to be crafted, so knowing how to keep yourself well-stocked will greatly help you progress.
Where To Find Monstrous Tooth
The only way to gain Monstrous Tooth is by killing sea monsters, and finding them in the open sea can be a bit difficult. Sea monsters have a chance of spawning at Strange Sightings events, but they tend to be pretty uncommon through this method.
However, there is a more consistent method that you can find through the Sea People. They are a faction that provides you with the side contract "From The Deep," which sends you off to hunt down the monster Kuharibu.
The great thing about this contract is that it resets every day, giving you a reliable way to farm Monstrous Tooth.
You can gain the rewards from this contract multiple times a day by helping other players kill Kuharibu, as you will both receive loot from his defeat.
"From The Deep" Quest Guide
To start this contract, you must visit the Sea People Huntmaster, who will give you access to it.
The Huntmaster can be found at the pirate outpost, Lanitra, between Angaya Coast and Giant's Leap. He will be standing near the beach from the fast travel point.
Accept the contract "From The Deep," and you will be sent to investigate a mysterious sighting north of Ile Michel in the Western Basin. You can find Kuharibu swimming around in the area. Defeat it, and you'll gain a random amount of Monstrous Tooth, along with some other loot.
To complete the quest, just return to the Sea People Huntmaster and give him the item, Kuharibu's Eye, which you will have received upon defeating him.
If you don't have anything to craft with Monstrous Tooth, the item also acts as a currency for the Sea People Huntmaster's shop.
