Bethesda's first sci-fi RPG, Starfield, has launched on Xbox consoles all over planet Earth. Constellation is an organization of avid space explorers who seek to figure out some of the universe's greater mysteries, and you're their newest recruit. These characters will be your companions throughout most of the main story quests, so here's a little more about the actors behind them.
1 Sarah Morgan - Emily O'Brien
Sarah Morgan, the leader of Constellation in this space opera, is voiced by veteran soap opera actress Emily O'Brien. Emily was a series regular on The Young and the Restless as Jana Fisher and later in Days of Our Lives as Gwen Rizczech. And she's also no stranger to the galaxies, as she portrayed Gamora in Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series.
But Sarah Morgan and Gamora merely scratch the surface of the video game characters she's voiced. Emily O'Brien also starred as Amelie in Death Stranding, Scarlet Witch in Marvel's Midnight Suns, Mary-Ann in Tell Me Why, and Sandy in Exoprimal. Her DC roles include Talia al Ghul in Gotham Knights, which she reprised in The Doom that Came to Gotham, and Renee Chandler in Constantine: City of Demons.
2 Sam Coe - Elias Toufexis
Elias Toufexis is also an actor who's been around in space long before Starfield in shows such as Star Trek: Discovery as L'ak and The Expanse as Kenzo. And here in Starfield, he plays the former Freestar Ranger and space cowboy Sam Coe, whose name is tied to the founder of Akila City. And he's previously co-starred with Emily O'Brien in Gotham Knights as Oswald Cobblepot.

Other notable roles in animated shows and games for Elias include villain Seraphim in Netflix's Blood of Zeus, Vince Walker in As Dusk Falls, the cowboy hat-wearing Louie J. Garner in Back 4 Blood, Prometheus in Immortals Fenyx Rising, and, most critically, protagonist Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided.
3 Matteo Khatri - Carlos Valdes
Constellation member Matteo Khatri is a theologian character showing interest in studying relics found throughout space for the deeper mysteries they can reveal. His scientific and philosophical zeal is perfectly paired with his voice actor Carlos Valdes, who you'll probably recognize as Cisco Ramon on CW's Arrowerse, or Team Flash's scientific genius and chief metahuman nicknamer.
When he's not busy helping Flash in Star Labs or taking down Central City's metahumans as Vibe, you can catch Carlos Valdes in shows such as Gaslit on Starz and Up Here on Hulu. While Starfield may be his first video game voice credit, Valdes has also voiced his character Cisco Ramon on Freedom Fighters: The Ray.
4 Walter Stroud - Armin Shimerman
In Starfield's universe, Walter Stroud may be the wealthy financier of Constellation thanks to his ownership stake in the company Stroud Eklund. Still, in another universe, he's the founder of Ryan Industries and the dystopian visionary behind the underwater city Rapture in BioShock – Andrew Ryan. That's right, Armin Shimerman once more stars as an industry magnate in the sci-fi genre.
Other notable video game roles by Shimerman include Dr. Nefarious in the Ratchet & Clank series, Augustus Aquato in Psychonauts 2, and various characters throughout the Mass Effect series. And if you're a Trekkie, you'll know Armin Shimerman as none other than Quark on Deep Space Nine, The Next Generation, and the video game Star Trek Online.
5 Andreja - Cissy Jones
Andreja is another Constellation companion you can recruit during your interstellar journey in Starfield, and this character is voiced by BAFTA-winning actress Cissy Jones, who's been in plenty of narrative-driven games. Her most memorable roles include Joyce Price in Life is Strange and Henry's fire lookout supervisor, Delilah, in Firewatch (which earned her the BAFTA).

More recently, you can hear Cissy Jones as one of the voices for the female protagonist in Remnant 2, Sarah Sheppard in Dead Island 2, Annie Knowby in Evil Dead: The Game, and the voice of The Absolute in Balder's Gate 3. And if you played Telltale's The Walking Dead, she's voiced several characters throughout the seasons, including Shel, Katjaa, and Jolene.
6 Vasco - Jake Green
No game set in space is complete without a robot companion, so Starfield offers you Vasco, a robot who can greet you by your character's name and exhibits a strong personality. Vasco becomes a critical part of the experience, like TARS in Interstellar and Claptrap in Borderlands, and actor Jake Green portrays this Constellation member.
Jake Green has done voices for Marvel, Star Wars, and DC projects. These include Eddie Brock in Midnight Suns, Dr. Ivo in My Adventures with Superman, and Poe Dameron in various Lego Star Wars specials. While his live-action roles are usually minor, you may have seen Jake in Netflix's Dahmer or ABC's The Catch. Other game characters of his include Olaf in Disney Dreamlight Valley and Bloodbag Chuck in Redfall.
7 Noel - Dana Gourrier
Dana Gourrier is an actress who's appeared in many television series such as True Detective, Raising Dion, Interview with a Vampire, and P-Valley. She's also collaborated with writer/director Quentin Tarantino on his films Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight, playing Cora in the former and establishment owner Minnie Mink in the latter.
On top of playing Constellation scientist Noel in Starfield, Gourrier has previously been a character in another sci-fi game. You may recognize her as Rose from Quantic Dream's branching narrative android tale Detroit: Become Human.
8 Barrett - Barry Wiggins
Perhaps a lesser-known actor to some, Barry Wiggins is the voice behind the character who recruits you to join Constellation, Barrett. While this may be the actor's first major video game role, he's provided some additional voices for Mafia 3 and was Papa Bear in the animated TV show Goldie and Bear.

Wiggins' career in Hollywood sees him in a variety of guest roles on popular shows. Some of those would include Spin City, Sister, Sister, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The O.C., Extant, the original Roswell, and Star Trek: Voyager and Deep Space Nine.
9 Vladimir Sall - Bumper Robinson
This former space pirate of the Crimson Fleet, who's now a part of Constellation in Starfield, is voiced by Bumper Robinson. He's been on 90s sitcoms like Family Matters, A Different World, and Guys Like Us, and later went on to star as Juvon in BET's sports comedy-drama series The Game.
But you're probably more familiar with some of Robinson's voice-acting roles. Most notably, those are the DC superhero Cyborg in many Lego games and animated movies, like 2012's Justice League: Doom, Ben Tennyson's ally Rook Blonko in Ben 10: Omniverse, and Optimus Prime's ally Bumblebee in Transformers: Animated. He was also Falcon in Avengers Assemble as well as numerous video games.
10 Adoring Fan - Craig Sechler
As was unveiled at the game's Forward during the Xbox Games Showcase, Oblivion's Adoring Fan elf character resurfaces in Starfield. Bethesda once again allows you to have this hilarious character as part of your crew, and Craig Sechler returns as the voice.
Craig Sechler has a rich history working on Bethesda games and their respective expansions, voicing numerous characters across Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. He's also lent his voice to the documentary series Drain the Oceans: Deep Dive and The Pacific War in Color. And he was Governor Connally in the 2016 biopic Jackie.
