PostsYour backpack can only store so much, and you'll find that you will be needing chests to manage all the items you've accumulated throughout your days. As your collection grows, you'll need to make sure your storage system is organized. Thankfully, there is a way to move your chests around without having to remove any of the items inside.
How To Move Chests With Items
Unlike processing machines such as the Keg and the Crystalarium, you can move a Chesteven when it has items inside.
To move a chest, you'll need to use your pickaxe, hoe, or axe. Simply face the chest you'd like to move, then strike it with your tool.
There are different ways in which you can control the movement of the chest when struck. For instance, you can hit it in the direction of the space you'd like for it to move into.
If there is an obstruction in the direction of the space you're facing, the chest will move to another available space after you strike it with a tool.
If there is no available space around the chest, it will hop over you and land on the space behind you.
You can hit the chest as much as you want in order to get into your desired position for it. It won't damage the chest and the items inside will remain intact.
This can be done with any type of chest, including the Big Chest.
