If you're looking to step into the traditional Eastern-style shoes of one of Ganye Temple's nuns, you'll play through Road to Empress 2 on a consistent mission to ascend to the throne and rule as the titular empress yourself someday soon. Doing so will require a deft hand with court politics, people skills, careful planning, and more.

They're referred to as Feats in the main menu and reward you in-game with Eggs and Flowers for your efforts, as well as coins that can help provide hints in the Ending screens if you find yourself a bit stuck.

Gameplay Achievements

Nimble Moves

Complete a quick-time event for the first time.

Your first chance to do this is during the first chapter, choosing to flee Ganye Temple and then opting to stab Xiu Li with your hairpin. Successfully complete the QTE to get this achievement.

Martial Arts Master

Complete all quick-time events.

Successfully get through every QTE in the game.

Curious Cat

View a hidden video on the outcome page for the first time.

When the game shows you the ending node for one of your chapters, view one of the videos it offers.

History Buff

Enter the chapter list for the first time.

From the Storyline screen, access the full chapter list to see which chapters you've played so far and potentially make different decisions in them.

Perfect for the Lazy

Use "Claim All" for the first time. While others farm crops, you farm riches.

Use the "Claim All" option at the bottom of the screen to grab all of your currencies and rewards at once.

Always Right

Complete the personality prediction test.

After the first chapter, you'll be able to use the personality prediction test for the first time. Doing so unlocks an achievement.

Whispers Behind Your Back

View "How Others See You" five times in The Destiny chapter summary.

On the nodes ending each chapter, you'll see at a glance which characters like, dislike, or feel neutral about you, and some will have speech bubbles by their heads. Click these to see a comment about your behavior in the chapter. Doing so on five chapters unlocks this Feat.

Use the "current" button for the first time.

In the Chapter List screen, use the "Current" button at the bottom of the screen to immediately return to the chapter you're most currently playing.

Getting the Hang of It

Reach 50% exploration.

Unlock half of the story tree throughout the chapters in Road to Empress 2, by seeing every scene and hearing every conversation possible during each scene.

See every node on the storyline tree.

Master Detective

Activate Hint Mode for the first time on a storyline.

Using the Coins you earn as chapter rewards, ask for a hint when restarting a chapter after dying due to one of your decisions.

Personalized Touch

View your trait sketch.

From the main menu of the game, navigate to the icon for the Trait Sketch in the top right corner of the screen and view it after the game has finished summarizing your traits.

This option is available on the ending chapter node screen.

The Perfect Monarch

Max out all five attributes. Emperor Sheng declares, "Well, that is truly astonishing."

Various choices you make throughout the game will impact your traits, and you'll see how at the end of each chapter. Make enough decisions to reach 100 points for all five traits.

Distant Echoes

Listen to a voice message for the first time.

When you reach an ending, you might see a character beneath the text for your outcome with a speech bubble next to them. Play one of these messages when you see one to trigger this achievement.

Lingering Echoes

Listen to more than 30 voice messages. Progress will be displayed at ending nodes.

Listen to 30 individual voice messages across all endings in Road to Empress 2. Some nodes have more than one voice message, and they seem to count individually.

Lingering Voices

Listen to more than 100 voice messages. Progress will be displayed at ending nodes.

Continue through the endings and hear over 100 voice notes on the nodes.

Archivist Extraordinaire

Unlock all videos in the character profiles.

Certain scenes unlock video content for certain characters, which you can see in the Character screen on the main menu. Access every video in the game to add it to the menu.

Networking Pro

Unlock all content in Characters.

Complete all main and side missions that involve every character in Road to Empress 2.

Scholar Supreme

Unlock all content in Collectibles.

You'll find collectibles throughout the game's main story, with key items being logged here as you progress down different paths. Find each one for this achievement.

When you click the screen while a video scene is playing, you'll have a camera option on the right side of the screen. Clicking it will take a screenshot of the screen without the text if you're listening in English, and you can save it right to your device.

The Flowers and Eggs you earn as chapter rewards or Feat rewards in Road to Empress 2 can be used to express affection or dislike for a character from the Character menu, with the game keeping track of the global stats. Spend 999 each of Flowers on characters you do like and Eggs on characters you don't to be part of the voting.

Trigger a bad ending for the first time. Don't worry, you'll get used to it!

The first time you're able to do this is during the prologue when dealing with Xiu Li trying to keep you from Li Zhi. The fastest way to do this is choose to pursue a new life and try to get the hair pin to Li Zhi by giving it to the guards.

Prerequisite Clue

Trigger a delayed bad ending for the first time.

Sometimes you'll make early choices that lead to later problems down the road, and this achievement triggers when you see the result of an earlier action.

Dialogue Achievements

Time to Step In

Free the girls sold to Mirage Pavilion.

After choosing to flee the palace, you'll go to the Mirage Pavilion to try and get a new identity. Here, you see a few girls being optioned for sale, so choose to buy them yourself with the money from the sale of your hairpin.

Dragon Tamer

Choose "Flirt," then walk away. Why keep him around otherwise?

Staying nearly fills your affection bar with Li Zhi during the scene where he asks you to stay, but leaving earns you an achievement.

Cold to the Core

Choose "My heart is cold, so my hands are cold too." Maybe try drinking more hot water?

If you chose to pursue Power on returning to the Palace, choose this dialogue option when speaking to Li Zhi later on.

Exactly My Type

Choose "Aunt, don't speak of Her Majesty that way." Aunt, you just don't get love.

Choose to pursue either Power or Everything when you return to the Palace, and scold the woman for speaking ill.

That Sounds Familiar

Choose "I'm carrying Li Tai's baby." It works every time!

If you traded the Soaring Red Kite hairpin to Xiao Nian at the Mirage Pavilion, you'll have the option to make this dialogue choice shortly after the scene with Liu Xi.

Not a Good Match

Choose "I have a round face."

The text on this Road to Empress 2 achievement seems to be mislabeled. When Xiao Nian tries to kill you, tell her that you don't look alike.

Hard Worker

Choose "I enjoy doing chores." Hard workers deserve respect!

After you've chosen to pursue love with Li Zhi when returning to the Palace, pick this dialogue option when the empress expresses concern.
