Here's where to find every one of Ogerpon's masks and how to obtain it in The Teal Mask.
PostsDesigned to be difficult boss-like trainers, they all come equipped with high-level teams with diverse typings making them difficult to defeat with a single Pokemon. However, even finding them can be a struggle. In this guide, we'll show you their exact locations, as well as sound strategies for defeating them.
Kitakami Ogre Clan Locations
Initially, there are seven members of the Kitakami Ogre Clan to find and defeat. You can come across them entirely by chance, or you could get some help from an in-game NPC.
At Kitakami Hall, to the right of the stairs before you enter the festival, a man in an Ogerpon mask will give you rewards for each member of the Ogre Clan beaten, as well as hints to find their locations.
Kotetsu
Kotetsu can be found at the bottom of a cave in the Crystal Pools, located at the very top of Oni Mountain.
Munechika
Munechika can be found on the eastern edge of Oni Mountain, standing on a cliff edge overlooking Fellhorn Gorge.
Hasebe
Hasebe can be found within Fellhorn Gorge, standing on the edge of one of the central raised islands.
Kanemitsu
Kanemistsu can be found in the Paradise Barrens, in the northeastern section near where Okidogi is battled.
Kunitsuna
Kunitsuna can be found on the western side of Oni Mountain, right in front of a small pool of water beside the Wistful Fields
Raikiri
Raikiri can be found directly north of Mossui Town, in a small cave midway up the waterfall.
Masamune
Masamune is found below the Kitakami Hall, in a small Bamboo Grove. In fact, he is almost a straight drop-down from the man who offers you hints as to the location of Kitakami Ogre Clan members.
How To Defeat The Kitakami Ogre Clan
Finding the seven members of the Kitakami Ogre Clan is only half the challenge. They're all high-level opponents, using battle teams of approximately level 75, depending on when you start the DLC.
Monotype Pokemon will have few advantages here, as they tend to have multi-typed, diverse Pokemon that can cover all their weaknesses and maximise their strengths.
Kotetsu
Kotetsu mainly focuses on Fighting-type Pokemon, so you're safest bet would be to focus on Pokemon with the Fairy or Flying types, like Ribombee to maximise your chances.

Final Ogre Clan Battle And Rewards
For each member of the Kitakami Ogre Clan that is defeated, the man at the Kitakami Hall will offer you a reward, as follows:
- For one member, a Focus Sash.
- For two members, five Exp. Candy XLs.
- For three members, an Assault Vest.
- For four members, ten Rare Candies.
- For five members, Choice Specs.
- For six members, an Ability Capsule.
- For seven members, a Choice Band.
However, upon claiming all these rewards, the man will reveal himself to be Muramasa, the leader of the Kitakami Ogre Clan, and challenge you to a battle.
He uses a wide variety of Pokemon, but his team has primarily Ghost-type Pokemonso there are no significant advantages, especially since Ghost Pokemon are weak to Ghost moves.
Annhilape's Fighting type does give it extra advantages against Muramasa's Crawdaunt and Kingambit, however.
