Make Your Pokemon Concierege Dreams Come True With This Lifesize Psyduck Plush

Pokemon Concierge hit Netflix at the end of 2023 and showed us how cool it would be to visit an island resort filled with our favorite Pokemon. Sadly, that dream cannot become a reality, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be chasing the next best thing. No, there isn't a tropical island an adorable stop-motion Psyduck calls home. However, there is a lifesize Psyduck plush you can buy and take to a remote island with you. Or, you know, just hang out with it around the house.

The plush - which is 31 inches tall - was originally released in 2020. However, Pokemon likely seeing how much everyone loved Psyduck in Conierege, the plush will be getting re-released and can be pre-ordered until February 19, 2024, or until stock runs out. It seems likely the latter will come first, although the potential price of the realistically-sized Psyduck might mean you've got longer to mull over whether you fork out for a plush big enough to be considered furniture.

Best Pokemon Plushes In 2024

Here are a few of the best Pokemon plushes available right now, whether you're just starting your collection or adding to an established one.

When originally released, the lifesize Psyduck was $279.99, so it seems likely that will be how much it costs this time around. That's if the Psyduck is made available outside of Japan. Even though it still has a store page on the US Pokemon Center, the plush is still listed as being out of stock. That might mean the restock is a Japan-only situation, or it might just mean the US stock of the plush hasn't been made available yet.

The Psyduck isn't officially connected to Pokemon Concierge since its original release predates the show by three years. However, an official line of merchandise revealed shortly after the show dropped on Netflix is directly connected to the stop-motion hit. The bad news is unlike Psyduck, those products are definitely only available in Japan until The Pokemon Company says otherwise. You can order it to be shipped elsewhere, but the additional cost of that shipping makes the items cost considerably more.

If you want some official Pokemon merch that doesn't cost more thanks to it being shipped from Japan, then check out the new plushes added to the Pokemon Center last week. Four Paldean additions all available now, including plush debuts for Mabosstiff and Tandemaus. They're $35.99 each and measure slightly larger than regular plushes, although nowhere near as large as the $280 Psyduck.
