If there is one thing World of Warcraft is known for, it is the copious amounts of lore and complex stories. With this in mind, it is no surprise that their playable races are chocked full of history. You can choose to indulge in your chosen races' heritage legacy by working towards their Heritage Armor, a unique appearance set that highlights this history.

The draenei, initially released in Burning Crusade, are a crash-landed alien race from a world beyond. Based on their relationship with the Light and magic, the Draenei Heritage Armor will make a beautiful addition to your collection.

How To Unlock The Draenei Heritage Armor Questline

In order for the questline to be available, you must be using a draenei character that is level 50 or higher.

Once you're reached level 50 on your draenei, a Magically Sealed Parcel will appear in front of the Stormwind Embassy, next to the mailbox. Interacting with this will start the questline.

How To Complete The Draenei Heritage Armor Questline

The quests you'll need to complete to receive the Heritage Armor are a bit lengthy but relatively straightforward. Below is a comprehensive table of each quest and its objectives:

Quest

Objective

'An Artificer's Appeal'

Use the given spare hologem to teleport to The Exodar.

'Reviving Tradition'

Help Romuul fix the holographic emitter by rummaging through nearby boxes for parts, then connect the appropriate transmitters.

'Pressing Deadlines'

Use the spare hologem again to go to Shattrath City and talk to Ataanya straight ahead.

'Rush Order'

Talk to Beruun in the entryway then fly to the marked location and help the miners load back up their boxes. You will have to kill a few scaled enemies. Give the crystal pieces to Crystalsmith Laharu in Shattrath, then return to Ataanya.

'An Old Wound'

Fly and speak to the soulspirests at the Auchindoun.

'Lingering Scars'

Commune with three draenei spirits in the Auchindoun. Use the nearby blue crystal to be transported to the appropriate grave.

The first simply requires interacting with nearby spirits. The second wishes that all candles be lit at once; to do this, start with the larger candles as they take longer to burn out.

Finally, the third will have you defeat two scaled, but not too difficult, enemies.

'To See Clearly'

Visit Hataaru's tomb and gather the nearby items for him, then return to Ataanya.

'Moving Past'

Use the spare hologem, then speak to Romuul.

'Emergency Efforts'

Mount the nearby Mana Ray to fly to Prophet Velen and speak to him.

'Beneath the Skin'

Get eight pitted bones from the nearby corrupted wildlife; these usually drop one third of the time. Plenty spawn around the area, so competing players should not be a problem.

'Assessing The Enemy'

Collect six nearby Satyr Totems. These will be highlighted on your map, and cannot be stolen by other players.

'Excision'

Go west to the nearby Satyr camp to look for Man'ari magic. A circle at the bottom of your screen will indicate how close you are; the more green it is, the closer you are.

Look for nearby fel magic shooting across the ground if you are stuck.

'At the Source'

Go to the marked location and wait for NPCs to talk, then speak to Velen to begin the encounter. You will have to defend the generator from multiple waves of scaled NPCs, then defeat the final boss. Watch out for her AOEs.

'Pain Recedes'

Use to spare hologem to return to The Exodar and speak to Prophet Velen.

'A Burden Shared'

Collect ten memory shards from the NPCs in the marked area. They will be found all around the Exodar; we recommend starting from the outside of the area and going in to ensure you find everyone.

With these shards, speak to Grand Anchorite Almonen to make your own memory shard. The choices youmakedo not matter to the quest. Finally, stand in the blue circle to throw and dissolve the crystals.

'Our Path Forward'

Talk to Velen to begin the ceremony. Once the cutscene ends, turn it in to receive your Heritage Armor and a draenei only Hearthstone toy, the Draenic Hologem!
