As you climb, you'll encounter Gatekeeper bosses. These are mini-bosses that stand in your way and act as checkpoints throughout the tower. Minotaur Nulla is one such boss, and you'll need a good strategy to survive the long fight. Here's everything you need to know about them so you can win the battle and reach the next floor.

Minotaur Nulla Overview

On floor 225, Minotaur Nulla will stand in your way. To move forward, you'll have to beat them. This formidable foe will take a good strategy to beat, as they have powerful skills and no weaknesses.

Below is a breakdown of Minotaur Nulla's affinities and weaknesses so you know what to expect:

Makougaon

Best Party Composition

Ideally, your party will include allies that can buff your party and debuff the boss. Junpei and Mitsuru make great party members to bring along, and Yukari is an excellent healer.

While Akihiko is a great fighter, he primarily uses Strike and Electric attacks, which are both useless in this fight. It's better to swap him out for another party member that can use their skills to fight Minotaur Nulla.

Akihiko's Theurgy attacks ignore Minotaur Nulla's resistances, but it will take time to fill that meter.

Also, due to Koromaru's weakness to Light attacks, it's best to leave him at the entrance, too. If Minotaur Nulla hits a weakness, they'll get another action–which can be lethal.

How To Beat Minotaur Nulla

The best strategy to beat Minotaur Nulla is to buff your party's defense while debuffing Minotaur Nulla's attack and defense. This shadow will hit hard, and you'll need to bolster your defenses to survive its turn.

Charge and Concentrate abilities will help you deal additional damage (just make sure to avoid Strike abilities). Keep an eye on your Theurgy skills, as they will negate any resistances and help deplete the Gatekeeper's health.

Whenever health is low, make sure to heal. Even at full health, party members are at risk of being wiped out in one go when Minotaur Nulla uses Heat Riser before an attack.
