Unicorn Overlord allows you to take the role as the leader of an army against the Zenoiran Empire. Between all the quests and battles, you may find yourself with some downtime, allowing you to bond with and build your Rapport with the varied characters of your army, from Scarlett to Josef to Yunifi.

Why Give Gifts In Unicorn Overlord?
Giving gifts is one of the ways you can increase your Rapport, which makes characters more powerful in battle, enables them to reap more rewards from battles, and unlocks additional dialogue. When a character reaches the maximum amount of Rapport, you will be able to select them as Alain's romantic partner.
You can also build Rapport by selecting characters to fight in battles and by sharing meals.
Gifts have different ranks. Each rank will give a set amount of Rapport:
- Rank One: 30 Rapport
- Rank Two: 60 Rapport
- Rank Three: 90 Rapport
If you give a character a gift that they like, the Rapport they receive from the gift will be doubled.
If you don't have or give a character a gift that they want, don't worry. You will still receive Rapport points, even if you don't give them their preferred item.
