All Pals in Palworld serve a purpose, and some have better passive traits than others. However, some of the best Pals are called Lucky. Not only does this apply to their traits, but also to their appearance. Finding them is easier than you'd think, but catching them is a different story. Here's everything you need to know about Lucky Pals and how to handle them.

Palworld is in Early Access, so details are subject to change. We'll update our guides as needed.

What Are Lucky Pals

Lucky Pals are rare versions of Pals that can be found on the islands of Palpagos. They're hard to miss, as they have a little bell sound effect that goes off when you're near them. You'll notice sparkles around them, and they're usually larger than their standard counterparts.

These Pals are unique because they also have the Lucky skill. This passive skill gives a +15 percent boost to Attack and Work Speed. They are useful allies to have, as they will benefit from this skill whether they are in your party or are deployed at your base.

Their appearance rate is low, but you'll know one's nearby when you hear the bells. Keep your eyes open and look around–the sound will get louder as you get nearer.

Almost any Pal can be Lucky, with the exception of humans and bosses, so try to find your favorites!

How To Catch Lucky Pals

You'll catch a Lucky Pal the same way you'd catch a normal Pal, however, they will be a bit more difficult to defeat. Depending on the Pal, you could have an easy fight against a Lucky Cattiva or a time-investment in a Lucky Mammorest.

If you haven't found a Lucky Pal in a while, try fast traveling around to different locations. You're bound to find one sooner or later.

When you catch them, they will have a little sparkle graphic next to their icon in the Palbox. Otherwise, their Paldeck entry will look the same as the other Pals of their kind.
