You can pretty much just imagine Wario being like a PG version of Frank Reynolds, and you're golden.

Earlier this week, Danny DeVito took part in an interview with YouTuber The Movie Dweeb to talk about his role in the movie Poolman. The Movie Dweeb took the chance to tell DeVito how much fans want him to play Wario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel, which DeVito replied to with some enthusiasm.

"You never know what happens in the world, I'm up for a lot of things, I'm ready to do a lot of things. So, whatever's coming, you know I look at, I see, I evaluate... let them know, you should tell them that I'm going to take them to the cleaners, but that I should be in the movie."

It's worth noting that Wario hasn't even been confirmed to be in the Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel yet, as we really don't know anything about its plot or characters yet.
