How To Find The Chessboard
The chessboard isn't your typical park variety. It's actually hidden inside a store. Here's how to find it:
- Head down to the southernmost area. This is the general direction where the buildings end.
- You'll find a store with a giant yellow gecko mascot peeking through the windows. The store's front door should be slightly open.
- Once you enter the store, locate the counter with the cash register on the left.
- Here is where you'll find the chessboard set up.
You'll need to have at least gotten the first fish to be able to reach this shop.
How To Get The Checkmate! Achievement
Now that you've located the chessboard, it's time to unleash your kitty chaos.
Use your jump button to climb up onto the counter with the cash register. With your newfound counter-height advantage, bat at all the chess pieces with your paws. Once you've successfully knocked over every single chess piece, the Checkmate! achievement will be yours.
You can also get the Big Kitty, Little City achievement here at the back of the store. Destroy the model city by ramming into the small buildings.
