Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Namee is a classic-style Yakuza game through and through, but it certainly isn’t afraid to break from the mold either. Experience points are gone, and you won’t be able to unlock many Side Stories by simply stumbling around town, but both of these elements are still alive and well, they have just been incorporated into the Akame Network content.

How Do Akame Points Work?
Akame Points are interesting in that they play multiple roles. For starters, they can be used to purchase items from Akame's shop. However, they go far beyond that, as you will also use Akame Points to upgrade Joryu's abilities and skills. So, they are a replacement for experience points as well as a currency of sorts.
There are three ways for you to gain Akame Points...
- You will earn Akame Points by completing Stroll 'N Patrol missions. You can check the "Support Map" to see what missions are available. Every chapter will bring a new set of missions.
- You will gain Akame Points by completing objectives from Akame's Checklist. These objectives include everything from taking 50 photos to breaking 500 objects. You will need to interact with every minigame found in Like A Dragon Gaiden, and engage with every establishment, in order to fill out this lengthy checklist.
- The final means for gathering Akame Points is by completing requests. Requests are Like A Dragon Gaiden's Side Stories. Completing Requests will shower you with Akame Points.
