First Look At Lego x Nike Air Max Dns Releasing This Summer

Summary
- Lego and Nike have revealed their first crossover project after announcing a partnership in 2024.
- The first project is a pair of Lego x Nike Air Max Dns releasing this summer.
- The sneakers will cost $155 and only be available in child sizes.
It's been almost a year since Lego and Nike announced that they were entering into a partnership together, and now we finally know what their first crossover product is going to look like. Nike is up first, revealing its next Air Max Dns will be Lego-themed.
The first images of the Lego x Nike Air Max Dns have been shared online (thanks, Jay's Brick Blog), and they are incredibly bright. The design is almost entirely yellow. The rather shocking shade of yellow that you might assume with Lego, so it makes sense. The sneakers are also covered in Lego-like studs, although unfortunately, you don't seem to be able to attach real Lego bricks and Minifigures to those studs.

The sneakers appear to be a follow-up to the Low-Poly design revealed in 2024.
PostsThere are Minifigures incorporated into the Air Max's design, though. Well, sort of. There aren't Minifigures trapped inside the sneakers' bubbles, which is probably wise as if they were to come loose, you'd feel them rattling around beneath your feet for the rest of time. Some of the bubbles have been made to look like they have Lego Minifigures peeking out of them, though.
Lego Nike Air Max Dns Are Coming This Summer
In A Box That Doubles As Additional Lego Storage
CloseOne of the bubbles on the sole has a traditional Minifigure face inside of it, with a Lego alien in one of the bubbles up near the tongue. Other bubbles - there are a lot of them - include the Lego and Air Max Dn logos. Speaking of, it's a little odd that Nike has gone with the Dn for its first Lego team-up, but it is the newest Air Max design. It also seems like this is only going to be the first of many collaborations between the two since their work together was labeled a partnership when announced in 2024.
The sneakers also have a red Lego logo on the tongue, and a reworked blue and black Nike logo on the back which replaces the word Nike with a black Lego brick. All very nice, and I'm sure they will sell out almost immediately when they become available this August. However, judging by a Reddit post from Clay_Bricks, people are more excited about the box the sneakers come in than the sneakers themselves.
Once you have removed the sneakers from their box, there are dividers that split the box into six evenly-sized sections. That transforms the box into storage that's perfect for your Lego bricks. Whether you want the shoes, the box they come in, or both, it's going to cost you $155. They'll also only be available up to size US7Y, so largely aimed at younger Lego-loving sneakerheads.
