Lego has provided Mario fans with a steady stream of sets inspired by the Mushroom Kingdom since 2020, but during this year's Mario Day celebrations, it teased something special. The first-ever Mario Kart Lego sets, but nothing more than a promise they'll be coming in 2025. Even though there's still more than four months of 2024 to go, Lego simply couldn't wait and has shown off all six of its upcoming Mario Kart sets for the first time.
Revealed at Gamescom (thanks, VGC) all six Mario Kart sets will be released on January 1, 2025. Once you have assembled the set's 133 pieces you'll be left with a Blue Yoshi, Yoshi Bike, and some accessories for good measure including an item box and a red shell. If you want someone to throw that red shell at then you will need to buy another set, and next up in terms of size and price is the Standard Kart set.
