For the nitty gritty stats, How Long To Beat has it at 13 hours to complete the main story and around two and a half for the side content. So you’re getting a pretty decent amount of game time for what you’re paying.

Plus, with the sheer amount of customization on offer, you can spend even longer tweaking everything on your perfect S.W.A.T. group There are also tons of player-created Mods to chew into if you’re looking for extra realism or just want to flesh out the game some more with something weird or brutally hard.

For full-tilt Completionists, you’re looking at around 54 hours to completely scrape the game clean.

What Does It Cost?

Another of Ready Or Not’s good points is its price, it’s only 30 bucks. So it’s on the low to medium end when it comes to schilling out those shekels for a new videogame. There’s also a good wealth of content to dig into, plus all the chaos that come from going through the multiplayer.

So you’re getting a good amount of bang for your buck. The game's player base is healthy so you’ll regularly be able to match up with randoms and the developers are fairly active with patches and adding new things to the game to keep things fresh. So it’s not going to go anywhere anytime soon.

Thankfully Ready Or Not isn’t one of those cases where you’re dropping a big stack of cash for something that dies six months later.

What Players Are Saying

If you’re still not sold on Ready Or Not and need something from the Horse's mouth then worry not. We’ve rounded up our team that has had hands-on with the game and got them to give their honest opinions on what they thought about Ready Or Not and it seems to be quite positive.

Worth It For A While - Zackary Wiggs

Ready Or Not is a great game if you're looking for realism, it feels like the next logical step for FPS games to go. It doesn't have as much replay value if you aren't a fan of perfecting mission runs, but with 18 maps it'll keep you hooked for awhile.

Thought Provoking - Ally Cochran

Ready or Not distinguishes itself from its genre counterparts through its outstanding shooting mechanics, impressive AI, and a novel exploration of real-world issues in its intricately crafted levels. While the game's lack of a cohesive narrative and occasionally sprawling levels can be a drawback, they don't overshadow its overall experience.

However, the title's willingness to tackle controversial topics, while sometimes praised for its daring approach, raises important discussions about the appropriateness and empathy in its execution. Ultimately, Ready or Not succeeds in delivering a distinctive and engaging experience that has left me contemplating both its gameplay innovations and the social issues it addresses.
