One of the best Xbox games in recent memory has come to PlayStation 5, feeling better than ever with the DualSense controller. You might get really into this game, but for those trophy hunters who want to get the platinum, you might want to reconsider.

Here's where you can find Spectra Doors and how to beat them in Hi-Fi Rush.
PostsHi-Fi Rush was one of the hardest Xbox completions ever, and it's not much easier on PlayStation. The tasks needed to get all the trophies are ludicrous, requiring mastery of both the title's action and rhythm game elements. Plus, the DLC is pure savage as well, making Hi-Fi Rush one of the hardest action game trophy lists.
8 I'm Untouchable!
An Oddball Achievement
Value
Description
30G/Bronze
Finish a stage without taking damage. (Any difficulty.)
An achievement that's usually expected in these types of action games is one for clearing an entire stage without taking damage. Normally, there's a short and easy stage to get this type of achievement, and while Hi-Fi Rush has one, its effectiveness has been questioned.
Track 12 only contains the final boss fight, but there have been reports of people no damaging that stage and still not getting the achievement. If you're going to play another stage, just make sure that you can complete some additional no damage challenges as that's needed for another achievement.
7 I'm Trying To FOCUS HERE!
The Hardest To Find Collectible
Value
Description
10G/Bronze
Find and shoot down every hovering announcement drone.
Like most games, Hi-Fi Rush has plenty of collectibles, most of which are tracked in the stage selection menu. However, there are some that aren't like the HR investigator locations, but those are at least easy to eyeball when using a guide.
Not so much for the announcement drones, which blend into the game so well that it can be hard or nearly impossible to figure out which ones you've already destroyed. You might just have to replay all the levels that they appear in, which, to be fair, you'll have to do anyway for the full completion process.
6 I Saw All Those Hits Coming A Measure Away!
Good Rhythm Required Here
Value
Description
10G/Bronze
Perfectly parry every non-boss enemy's Rhythm Parry attack.
Throughout Hi-Fi Rush, you'll encounter miniboss enemies that occasionally do a rhythm parry attack. As in the move's name, you'll have to parry a specific beat movement in time with the notes to instantly kill them, and to get this achievement, you must perfectly parry every single note of the attack.

Hi-Fi Rush is filled with references. Here are our favourite ones.
PostsFor some enemies, this is actually pretty easy due to the simple rhythm, while others like the samurai are just dastardly. The samurai's rhythm is so funky that it can take a while to get down. Thankfully, there are only seven enemies you'll have to deal with here, but it's still tough as nails.
5 Didn't Skip A Beat!
Not Your Average Hardest Difficulty Mode
Value
Description
50G/Silver
Finish the game and complete every level on the Rhythm Master difficulty.
Hi-Fi Rush's equivalent to Dante Must Die mode from the DMC games would be Rhythm Master difficulty. Despite being the hardest mode, it's more akin to Must Style difficulty from DMC: Devil May Cry. Throughout the game, you can never drop your rhythm meter to a D rank, or else it's game over.
Keep in mind that every battle starts at a C rank, so it can be difficult to keep the meter in check. Enemy health and damage are cranked up as well, but that should be expected. It's extremely difficult, but even more so to S rank every level, which plays into the hardest achievement in the core game.
4 What A Journey It Was...
The Element They Shouldn't Have Copied From DMC
Value
Description
30G/Gold
Complete the Wall of Fame in the hideout.
Even with achievements and trophies, Hi-Fi Rush has in-game challenges, and Tango Gameworks just had to make completing all of them required for the platinum. It sure is a journey because you'll spend countless hours here on all the various tasks. Some of the most time-consuming and skill-based ones are for getting an S rank on every level on every difficulty.
Why couldn't you just S rank all the levels on Rhythm Master and call it a day? You'll have to no damage a lot of bosses and specific sections as well, and even Rhythm Tower has some ridiculous ones, like beating the entire mode twice and beating it without using any items. You have to be an action-game god to get this achievement.
3 My Ultimate Setlist
Just As Hard As DMC's Bloody Palace Mode
Value
Description
30G/Bronze
Complete all the floors in the Rhythm Tower.
The Rhythm Tower challenges are even more wild when considering how brutal it is to beat the mode in the first place. Akin to Bloody Palace mode from Devil May Cry, you'll climb a set of floors, each having enemies to fight or a boss encounter, plus you have a time limit.
Related7 Things Only Pro Players Know You Can Do In Hi-Fi Rush
There's more skill required than just slinging around a guitar.
PostsIn Hi-Fi Rush, you must climb 60 floors, and one death means you'll have to restart the entire tower from the beginning. Considering a full Rhythm Tower run takes around an hour to do, losing at the very end can be devastating. Both your nerves and skills are tested here, and many won't be able to handle it.
2 That Was Just EVIL
A Savage Twist On Another DMC Mechanic
Value
Description
50G/Silver
Clear BPM RUSH! on EX Mode.
Moving onto the DLC, the game gets even harder if you can believe it. You get two additional modes, and one of them's BPM Rush. Once again, it's akin to Turbo mode from DMC, but with a twist because instead of it being a modifier for the main campaign, an entire challenge mode is dedicated to it.
You must go through seven waves of increasing speed, making sure to play well to keep the BPM gauge going up. On EX mode, all waves except the first are at max speed, and instead, enemies get boosted damage every wave. With how fast BPM Rush goes at the highest setting, this achievement is for the hardest of the hardcore action game players. The only easy thing is that a full run takes less than 20 minutes, an improvement over other game modes.
1 Low Budget Finish
The Final Test
Value
Description
20G/Bronze
Defeat the main game final boss wearing the "Low Budget" Costume for Chai (with guitar) and 808.
To get the Low Budget costume, you'll have to clear all 40 challenges offered in the DLC, and at this point, it almost seems like Tango is trolling you. Not only will you have to do EX mode and many other hard challenges of BPM Rush, but you also have to deal with Power Up! Tower Up!
This mode's similar to Eternal Legend from Ninja Gaiden, going through 25 floors and leveling up as you go along. You must clear this mode multiple times in runs where you have to upgrade everything and runs where you can't upgrade anything at all. This will probably be your final achievement, and if you somehow get it, consider yourself a master gamer.
