It's a bad time to be a Helldiver
PostsTaking to Reddit's r/Helldivers subreddit, user u/TLDRregularjoe posted evidence of the Warlords existing on the bot frontline. They compared the current images with that of what existed in the original Helldivers and the resemblance is uncanny. Check it out:
Wait, What's A Warlord?
If Helldivers 2 is your first foray into the world of liberation and democracy, then don't worry, we have you covered. Warlords were a powerful enemy in the first game, boasting massive health with heavy armor all around their bodies.
They are described as being the top of Cyborg society and will punish players when they spawn with a massive cannon. And as one user pointed out, now that the Cyborgs in Cyberstan have been freed by the Automatons, then there's even more of a possibility of these formidable foes appearing.
Other users have also chimed in that they have seen these in recent days, making the presence of the Warlords a new asset rather than something that has been around. Though there are some users who are not convinced, arguing that it's just a Hulk. Only time will tell what exactly it is.
Helldivers 2 Has Had An Up And Down Week
Between Steam, the PSN fiasco, and the review bombs, Helldivers 2 had a pretty tough week. But that all changed within the last few days as those issues got sorted out.
However, everything was not negative. A Star Wars mod is on its way that will transform the world into that of the Clone Wars. Also, a new SMG was deployed that can stunlock Stalkers. Finally, the team will be releasing a commemorative cape in honor of the review bombs. In other words, it was a pretty normal week for Helldivers.
