However, you are a proud elite soldier of Super Earth trained to overcome all insurmountable odds. While a live grenade does not pose a threat, when you have Hulks and Tanks in the field, you can always toss back a live grenade and hit back. This action also unlocks the 'Hot Potato!' trophy or achievement.

How To Get The 'Hot Potato!' Trophy/Achievement

To unlock the How To Get The 'Hot Potato!' trophy or achievement, you need to toss back a live grenade thrown by an enemy at you.

Since the Terminids do not throw grenades at you, the Automatons are the only faction where you will occasionally find Troopers, Raiders, and Marauders throwing grenades at you. It mostly happens if you maintain a certain distance and attack from range.

The difference between a grenade thrown by a helldiver and an Automaton grunt is that the latter's grenade glows red, making it very easy to spot the difference between the two.

When you get close to the glowing red grenade, press the "E" interact button, and your helldiver will throw the grenade back quickly. This action will immediately unlock the 'Hot Potato!' trophy or achievement for you in the game.

There is no requirement for the 'Hot Potato!' trophy or achievement to hit or kill the bot that threw the grenade in the first place. All you need to do is toss it back and unlock the trophy or achievement.

This trophy or achievement may unlock naturally as you play the game. A lot happens during the heat of the battle, and one can always panic about a red glowing object being thrown. Luckily, all it takes is a one-button press to hurl back the live grenade and save your squadmates from being blown up to pieces by a grenade.
