Every now and again, we all love a good roast. After all, what's life without a bit of comedy to go along with it?

Roasts can happen in a variety of ways, but some of the best have undeniably come from video games. There is, of course, Juri absolutely flaming you in Street Fighter 6's World Tour. More recently, the trio of Bulma, Chi-Chi and Videl have a lot of thoughts on the various characters of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, including Garlic Jr.

And how could we ever forget Wolfenstein, having no qualms about players who opt to play on the game's easiest difficulty.

That said, it appears that Hades 2, the sequel to the breakout Hades, has joined the pantheon of in-game roasting sessions. And like every other game mentioned, the team at Supergiant isn't holding back, either.

Hades 2 Changing So Much In Early Access Is A Good Thing

The third patch has arrived and it brings with a bunch of changes... and I welcome them with open arms.

Via the new Olympic Update, which brings a wealth of new features, including new areas, Athena's Divine Dash ability is back. That ability was seen as a crutch of sorts in the first game, as it allowed players to not only deal damage with their dash, but deflect oncoming attacks as well.

In a game that holds back no punches, any sort of aid is welcomed by players. On the other hand, its giver, Athena, will absolutely let you have it for taking the easy way out.

As first spotted on Reddit, by selecting the ability, Athena will then say: "Your brother's favorite." That, of course, is in reference to the ability being one that Zagreus had access to in the first game. Zagreus is Melinoë's brother, making it all the more hilarious.

Obviously, it's nothing major, but it's the kind of thing that helps make video games fun. And if video games aren't fun, then, truly, what are we doing? Let the roasts live on forever.
