Kinich is the second limited five-star character from Natlan in Genshin Impact. He is also one of only a few characters that has a skill that gives them great mobility in the open world, with his Elemental Skill at the top of the list, for being one of the best.

Kinich is also a limited Dendro Claymore five-star character who is an on-field main damage dealer. To cook the best Kinich team compositions, you must understand the recipe first. The recipe for a good Kinich team is simple, it is one that works with Burning or Burgeon.

Kinich's Best Overall Team: Kinich And Emilie

Emilie could be called Kinich's best friend. She is one of the best off-field damage dealers in Genshin Impact, and she works best with Burning, which goes perfectly with Kinich. He takes the field, while Emile provides staggering amounts of off-field damage, making a powerful team that easily shreds even strong enemies.

  • Kinich : Main DPS (On-field)
  • Emilie : DPS (Off-field)
  • Xiangling / Dehya : DPS (Off-field)
  • Bennett : Attack Buffer and Healer

Xiangling provides ample off-field damage and Bennett buffs the team's damage and both of them enable the Burning reaction. Dehya can be used instead of Xiangling, as Dehya can provide valuable utilities such as resistance to interruption.

Equipping 4pc Deepwood on Xiangling/Dehya will let the team do more overall Dendro damage because of Deepwood's artifact set effect of decreasing enemy Dendro resistance by 30%.

Playing this team is very simple:

Character

Action

Bennett

Use Bennett's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst for an attack buff and healing from his burst.

Xiangling

Quickly swap to Xiangling and use her skills while within Bennett's Elemental Burst.

Emilie

Use Emilie's Elemental Burst.

Kinich's Four Star Team

Kinich is a very free-to-play, friendly character owing to his high raw damage and simple conditions for a team. Using a team of Bennett, Xiangling, Collei and Kinich will be able to carry you even through the end game.

  • Kinich : Main DPS (On-field)
  • Collei : DPS (Off-field)
  • Xiangling : DPS (Off-field)
  • Bennett : Attack Buffer and Healer

Another good character that can be used here is Thoma. Thoma could replace Xiangling and act as an off-field damage dealer and a shielder at the cost of decreased damage.

Having high constellations on Xiangling and Bennett will have a huge impact on how this team performs in terms of damage output.

This team is simple to play and rotate and just uses skills when needed.

Kinich Burgeon Team

Kinich is a very flexible character that can fit into a wide variety of team compositions and one of them is a Burgeon team composition. Burgeon is a Dendro reaction that happens when the bloom cores created by Dendro and Hydro reaction comes into contact with Pyro.

  • Kinich : Main DPS (On-field)
  • Yelan : DPS (Off-field)
  • Thoma : DPS (Off-field)
  • Baizhu : Shielder and Healer

This team can have a wide variety. Yelan can be swapped with Kokomi/Xinqiu/Furina and Baizhu can be swapped with any Dendro character that can provide value to the team while being off-field.

The team requires fairly low investment, since characters expect Kinich only require Elemental Mastery on their artifacts.

There is no specific rotation for this team, as characters tend to be switched at random when they are needed. Just make sure to have a skill ready that can provide hydro application while Kinich is on-field and have another skill that can provide off-field Pyro damage.

An example of the rotation for the above team composition would be;

  1. Use Baizhu's Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill.
  2. Use Yelan's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.
  3. Use Thoma's Burst and then his Elemental Skill.
  4. Defeat the enemies with Kinich.

Kinich Hyper Carry

If you are looking for a team to maximize Kinich's damage from his Elemental Skill, then this team might be for you.

Furina, Siegwinne, and Bennett can greatly buff Kinich's damage and, since Furina, Siegwinne, and Bennett can heal each other, acquiring maximum fanfare stacks from Furina is very easy.

  • Kinich : Main DPS (On-field)
  • Furina : DPS (Off-field), damage buffer and healing
  • Sigewinne : Damage buffer and healing
  • Bennett : Damage buffer and healing

Make sure to occasionally switch to Bennett and use his Elemental Skill to trigger burning. Having C6 Bennett will make this team composition work very well.

The rotations for this team composition can vary widely depending on the combat situation. Generally, you should aim to trigger Burning and Burgeon, while making sure the buffs from Furina, Siegwinne and Bennett are going into Kinich.

  1. Use Kinich's Elemental Burst.
  2. Use Bennett's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.
  3. Use Furina's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.
  4. Use Siegwinne'sElemental Skill and Elemental Burst.
  5. Enjoy your play with Kinich.
