There are a number of doctors you can recruit to work in your hospital. Some are permanent consultants that can be rehired in later levels, and others are various candidates of different species that want to work for you. Each species has different bonuses, and so do the consultants, so it can be overwhelming to figure out which ones will have your hospital running like the best clinic in the galaxy.

10 Vizarj

Strange, But Friendly

The Vizarj are an odd species, with wriggly little tentacles and one huge squidlike eye. Their desires are fairly easy to meet by just placing windows and toilets near where your Vizarj doctors will be working and hanging out. They don't move as quickly as some other species, but they'll still get the job done.

The Visarj species comes in handy when you're trying to keep your treatment rooms well-staffed and your corridors free of bodily fluids. The Visarj have a unique species trait that prevents them from being bitten by sickness-carrying pests, and they have no nutrition requirements so they won't have to leave their office to clog up the vending machines.

The Xil are a species of bepidal, roach-like people who are hardy and efficient. Their desired traits are very easy to fulfil by placing art decorations and trash bins in the areas that your Xil doctors are assigned to. Keeping your reputation up with the Xil also yields some pretty fun rewards.

The species trait of the Xil is a little odd for a hospital setting, but Galacticare doesn't judge the needs of its employees. The Xil will eat rubbish from the trash bins when they're idle and happy, and they'll also collect it from the ground. In addition to taking the workload off of your Medibots, they also don't care about the cleanliness of your hospital at all.

The Biggest Family In The Galaxy

Dyonai are a species of plant-people, all born from the same mother planet. Their species desires are easy to meet if you've already got an established and running hospital, as they only require seating and plant decorations. They also have the most colorful rewards for building a reputation with their species.

Their species trait, Floral Pheremones, increases the moods of both doctors and patients that are within their radius. When they sit down, the radius increases. This is especially useful for boosting the moods of people waiting on Recovery Wards and Staff Lounges to free up, or patients that might be feeling fed up with wait times.

6 Earl Prince, Esq.

Esteemed Lord Of The Critters

Earl Prince, Esq. is a recruitable consultant that can join your team of doctors when you've finished working with him. In addition to having the same unique species trait as the Xil and consuming the trash laying around your hospital, Earl also brings in a whole host of critters that you actually want to see in your hospital.

Earl's upgrades increase the amount of Solarks and Chitters that come through your hospital, and you can select traits that make the Chitters speed up and seek him out, making them much easier to find. He also offers research boosts and doubles Eurekas when later traits are unlocked.

5 Bazzanorrothogoria

See You In The Loam, Big Guy

Bazzanorrothogoria, better known to his friends and medical provider as Baz, is a Colossal that shows up at the beginning of the game in need of treatment. Assuming it all goes well, Baz stop by with his shop for the rest of the game, offering free upgrades and items, as well as selling things for credits instead of Craftech.

Helping out Baz will also spread word to the rest of the Colossals, and Galacticare will become the premiere hospital for the treatment of the galaxy's biggest friends. Baz is gentle and polite and, while he isn't a doctor, it's always pleasant to see him come around.

Brother Gumbo is a mindful and spiritual Kouber Baly NPC who can be brought on as a consultant. Like other Kouber Baly, he prefers spacious rooms and wide hallways, and he has a species trait that reduces the deterioration of health and needs while idle. Brother Gumbo also permanently increases the happiness of all patients he treats, which is a huge boost to your reputation.

Brother Gumbo's other level traits include slowing treatments down to produce the best possible care, preventing death, and preventing room durability and mood from affecting the quality of his treatments. At later levels, Brother Gumbo grants healing bonuses and massive bonuses to needs and treatments.

She shares the Tenki trait of repairing objects when idle, and has her own unique ability that allows her to treat patients faster, at the cost of reduced reputation and research gain. She also comes with her own personal teleportation device.

Ultra's upgrades allow her to teleport patients instead of just herself, and remove the range limit and cooldown of her personal teleportation. Ultra is a great doctor to pull out first, and her later upgrades grant bonuses to research and reputation that level out her negatives. She can also give a teleportation device to all patients she treats, drastically reducing the time patients suffer at your hospital.

Twiggy Pop is one of several delightful, musician-themed characters you meet throughout the game, and she's the first consultant you can recruit. Twiggy is a Dyonai, so she shares the mood-boosting pheremones with the rest of her species, as well as her own ability that provides a health boost to doctors that are within her bass-boosted aura. This punk plant doctor is, quite possibly, the best Galacticare's got.

Twiggy's early upgrades boost the size or strength of her musical aura, and give a credit and speed boost to doctors and treatment rooms that are inside the aura, so it's best to station her where there are a lot of treatment rooms grouped together. Later trait upgrades include doubling credits or influence for Eurekas within Twiggy's aura, and causing other doctors to score Eurekas whenever she does.
