Yakuza's Kiryu And Majima Are Coming To Fortnite According To New Leak

Summary
- Fortnite leakers are claiming the long-rumored Yakuza crossover is coming soon.
- The collab is rumored to include Kiryu and Majima skins.
- The start of Fortnite's next season will coincide with the release of Lika A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii.
Pretty much every famous video game character has, at the very least, been rumored to be coming to Fortnite if they're not a part of the game already. However, a year on from the initial rumblings, Like A Dragon/Yakuza's Fortnite rumors have been swirling longer than most. Thankfully, that swirling might be about to stop, at least according to the latest, most concrete rumors we've seen so far.
Leaker Shpeshal_Nick revealed at the end of 2024 that they were shown a list of potential Fortnite crossovers back in February 2024. Yakuza was on that list, and the current season's theme had Nick, and many others, thinking Like A Dragon characters might finally show up. That hasn't happened, but with a new season on the horizon, the Yakuza x Fortnite rumor mill is working faster than ever.

PostsThe rumors have escalated from "Yeah, it could happen here" to "This is happening". Fortnite leakers Loolo and Wenso appear to be where the renewed rumors have begun, but the info has since been shared by some of the most prominent insiders. Hypex and Shiina, for example, have both confirmed Yakuza is "coming soon" and as far as I'm aware, neither of them has ever missed when it comes to reporting on unconfirmed additions to Fortnite.
Leakers Claim Yakuza Characters Are Finally Coming To Fortnite
Once I'm In That Kiryu Suit, I'll Never Need To Buy Another Skin Again
Details regarding exactly what Fortnite's Like A Dragon crossover will include are sparse right now since there hasn't been an official reveal. However, the leaks do include two of the characters from the series that will be getting Fortnite skins - Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima. I'm assuming Kiryu will be wearing his iconic grey suit, and Majima will be in his snakeskin jacket.
CloseEach of them may have more than one skin, of course, and Majima might have a pirate outfit to wear for his Fortnite vacation. Taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture, it seems obvious now that Epic and RGG would wait until the next Yakuza game to deploy its team-up. Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii releases on February 20, 2025, with Fortnite's next season starting the following day.
A free Pirate Yakuza demo was revealed during Wednesday's State Of Play and will be available to download and play later today. Between new fans trying the game for free, being introduced to Kiryu and Majima via Fortnite, and the full game releasing on the same weekend as Fortnite's next season, if this leak is accurate, it could end up being the perfect storm and provide Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii with quite the sales boost at launch.
