Whether it be increased firepower or the ability to dash through the sky using Underworld agility, your options in how you move and take down your opponents will grow with your new powers. However, only those who prove strong enough will be able to take on these godly powers in the first place.

Aspects of the Gods, Explained

The Aspects of the Gods are new medals in Fortnite that can be acquired when you defeat the attributed god on the island. They work similarly to the Society's medallions from the previous season, except they give you unique buffs and powers instead of automatically refilling shields.

To earn these Aspects, you'll need to find the character's altar and summon them before defeating them in battle.

Aspect

Boss

Altar Location

Benefit

Aspect of Speed

Zeus

Mount Olympus

Run faster and jump higher.

Aspect of Combat

Ares

Brawler's Battleground

Ranged weapons have increased damage.

Aspect of Siphon

Cerberus

Grim Gate

Grants a healing siphon effect when you eliminate someone.

Aspect of Agility

Hades

The Underworld

Gain charges of Underworld Dash over time. Use by jumping again in mid-air.

Once you topple the statue on the altar, NPC minions will spawn. You'll need to defeat enough minions to fill the meter at the top of the screen, with the area spawning enemies until you do so. Once filled, the enemy boss will finally appear, and you'll need to take them down to earn the Aspect.

The altar sequence and NPCs can attract the attention of other players, so make sure you're keeping an eye for enemies that may try to steal your Aspect.

Since you'll need to take on Fortnite's Chapter Five, Season Two bosses, it's important to make sure that you've got a good loadout and your health is full. You'll need to defeat waves of enemies before you ever come in contact with the boss, so it's wise to be prepared for the entire battle ahead of time.
