Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2's launch is almost upon us, and if you've pre-ordered the Gold Edition its arrival is less than 24 hours away at the time of typing this. More than a decade on from the last Space Marine game, and three years after its sequel was revealed, the wait is almost over. Whether your Space Marine 2 journey begins on September 6 or September 9, you're not the only ones excited to don some Space Marine armor once again. The game's publisher is so excited, it has clad a PS5 in that same armor.

To celebrate the next Warhammer 40K game, Focus Entertainment is giving away a one-of-a-kind Space Marine 2 PS5 with a matching controller, and what a console it is. The PS5 is covered top to bottom in blue and gold Space Marine power armor, standing between two stone pillars and on a matching stone base. Well, I'm assuming those are plastic pillars and a plastic base, but they have been meticulously painted to look like stone, likely by someone who has experience painting Warhammer miniatures.

Standing alongside the PS5 is a matching controller, again one of a kind which means if you win it, you will own a controller that nobody else in the world owns. The controller is the same shade of blue as the console with matching gold trim and the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 logo on the touchpad. The controller is the only part of the giveaway I have a problem with. The studs in the gold trim make it look like it wouldn't be all that comfortable to hold. Then again, if you're wearing Space Marine power armor while you play, as you should, then that shouldn't be a problem.

There are three things you need to do to enter this contest and be in with a chance of winning a very special PS5, which comes with a copy of Space Marine 2, in case that wasn't already obvious. Only one entry per platform, but you can do it on two or more of the platforms listed to up your chances of winning.

The list of countries you must reside in to enter are listed on Focus Entertainment's website, and you must be over 18. Space Marine 2 is rated M for Mature, so you shouldn't be playing it if you're much younger than that anyway. There have been a lot of unique consoles up for grabs in 2024, mainly on the Xbox side of the fence. There's a Star Wars Outlaws Series X being given away right now, or some Nix plushes if you're a runner-up.
