Folklore Nodes are some of the most difficult to gather because they require high stats, but they offer extremely useful materials that are used in high-end crafts. Below, we'll take a look at how to unlock and find every Botanist Folklore Node in Dawntrail.

How To Unlock Botanist Folklore Nodes

Before you can harvest Folklore Nodes, you'll need to unlock them. To do this, you'll need to buy the corresponding Folklore Book from the Scrip Exchange vendor in either Tuliyollal (X:16.2, Y:11.1) or Solution Nine (X:9.1, Y:13.3).

These are found under the Gatherers' Scrips (Regional Folklore/Materials/Misc.) category and the Purple Scrip Exchange (Lv.100 Folklore Items) subcategory.

There are three Folklore Books for each Gathering Job, and each Folklore Book costs 1600 Purple Gatherer Scrips. You can earn this currency in a variety of ways, like Custom Deliveries, Collectables, or Wachumeqimeqi Deliveries in Tuliyollal.

For Botanist, here are the items that each Folklore Book unlocks.

  • Tome of Botanical Folklore - Yok Tural: Ipe Log
  • Tome of Botanical Folklore - Xal Tural: Nopaliflower

Folklore Nodes spawn two times in 24-hour periods, and last for two-hour windows when they are active. All Folklore Nodes are level 100.
