Where To Find Iron

If you are looking to naturally find some iron lying around, then the best place to go is Mount Hothead. This area is northwest of the Seaside Resort, where you can find Retsuko.

In this building, you'll be able to use game tickets to participate in a matching minigame. This will require you to interact with little mining nodes that light up. Your goal is to create matches, but if you mess up enough, the game will end.

Fortunately, you can try again and the nodes will still be in the same order. Because of this, we recommend noting down the locations of the colors to avoid using more game tickets than necessary. Iron is a potential reward for this game, so be sure to stop by if you are ever running low.

Where To Get The Ingot Crafting Plans

Lastly, let's go over where to find the crafting plans for iron ingots. The location is rather straightforward to reach; you can find it in the same plaza as the matching minigame from above. Looking at the yellow building in Gemstone Town, you'll see a building directly to the left (with a red roof).

Head to this building, and you'll see a barrel on the left side of it. On top, you can find the crafting plans for iron ingots, which require three iron pieces to make.
