Final Fantasy 14's Dragon Quest 10-themed event is back! First appearing a couple of times in 2014, the Breaking Brick Mountains event has returned a few times and is live right now for anyone who missed it and wants to get those exclusive items. The event will end on June 20, 2024 at 7:59 am PST/ 14:59 GMT.

Where To Unlock The 'Breaking Brick Mountains' Quest

You can begin this event quest by speaking to Havak Alvak in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald at (X:12.1, Y:8.2).

You must be Level seven or above to be able to start this quest.

Speak to the Beefy Businessman in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald at (X:8.2, Y:12.3) and agree to give it a shot when asked.

You will now need to complete three event FATEs to progress:

  • Brick by Brick
  • Brick by Stone Brick
  • Brick by Gold Brick

These are chain FATEs, meaning that each one will spawn immediately after the other so don't leave the area as soon as you complete the first FATE.

These FATEs appear in the following areas:

Once you've completed all three FATEs, return to the Beefy Businessman in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald at (X:8.2, Y:12.3) and hand over the Brickman Chunk to him in order to complete the quest and earn your Wind-up Brickman minion and Thug's Mug helm.

A lot of players will be looking to complete these FATEs to complete the event, so you should have no trouble completing the FATEs regardless of whether you're a sprout. If anything, your trouble will be actually getting a hit in before the FATE is complete!

Where To Get The King Slime Crown

Speak to the Toughie in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald at (X:8.2, Y:12.2), and you can purchase the King Slime Crown for 57 Gil.

You do not need to have completed the quest for this to be available, so don't forget to buy it.

How To Replay The Breaking Brick Mountains Event

If you completed the event previously and want to do it again for fun, simply speak with Havak Alvak in Ul'dah the Steps of Nald at (X:12.1, Y:8.2) and choose "Yes" when asked if you would like to replay the event.
