We're Getting At Least Five Seasons Of Fallout, If Everything Goes According To Plan

Summary
- Actor Aaron Moten says that the cast of Fallout was told what the endpoint of the show would be when they signed up.
- He says that the story will take five or six seasons to tell.
- The show has been renewed up to Season 2, but it's likely that Amazon will order more seasons.
The Fallout show was a runaway success when the first season dropped last year. Ever since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the second season, especially since it's taking us to the areas we saw in Fallout: New Vegas.
Right now, we're not sure what New Vegas has in store for the characters, but as it turns out, their stories have been mapped out until the show's finale. Saving any disruptions or rewrites, it seems that we can expect five to six seasons in total.

The shooting never felt good, and a remaster could finally fix that.
PostsThis comes from Aaron Moten, who plays Maximus in the Fallout show. Speaking at Comic Con Liverpool, Moten commented on the story of Fallout, and how everyone's arcs have already been mapped out.
Aaron Moten Discusses The Future Of The Fallout Show
"When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point, and they gave me the end point," Says Moten. "That end point hasn't changed, but it is [a] Season 5, Season 6, type of end point. We've always known that we're going to take our time with the development of the characters."
So, Moten is already very much aware of what fate lies in store for the cast of Fallout. Given how he casually remarks on how the story would take at least five seasons to tell, it certainly seems that the crew see this as a long-term project, even if the second season is the only one that's been greenlit so far.
Given the success of the first season - and how anticipated the return to New Vegas is - it's likely that further seasons will be greenlit once Season 2 drops. We know that filming has wrapped now, we're just waiting on a release date.
