In Enshrouded, you set off on an epic journey to gather resources needed for survival while going through precarious environments. Initially, most of the players focus on gathering resources that are beneficial in combat, but the game offers more than just fighting.

Honey turns out to be a substantial resource as it is used to prepare potions that will help you in healing. Luckily, Honey comes along with another useful resource, Wax, which can be used to upgrade the Flame Altar as well as craft a Wax Torch that provides a great source of light during nocturnal hours.

How To Get Honey And Wax

There are two ways through which you can get Honey and Wax. The first one involves harvesting it from beehives, and the second one involves Farming.

Harvesting From Beehives

Beehives are present on trees in many regions, and easily identifiable. While exploring, keep an eye out for those beehives among the trees. It's also advisable to have a ranged weapon like a Bow equipped, as sometimes the beehives may be out of reach.

Once you find a beehive that is within the range, you can go near it and harvest its contents. On the other hand, if it is out of your range, you can use a bow instead. While doing so, you must be careful since many a swarm of bees might attack you in defense. Once the hive is down, gather the Honey and Wax. Each beehive yields 1 unit of Honey and Wax.

Farm Honey And Wax

Alternatively, you can also farm Honey and Wax at your base. To do that, first you will need to unlock the Farmer survivor from its vault. With the help of Farmer, you can craft your beehives using some resources.

To craft a Honey Beehive, you must gather:

• Four Wood Logs
• 20 Straw
• Four Lump of Clay

After crafting the beehive, you can easily create your own Honey and Wax from its resources. To make Honey, you will need one Sugar and two Water. For Wax, combine three Plant Fibers with one Water.
