Enshrouded's quest system teaches the players most of the needed assets, tools, resources, and story, but the "Finding the Weaver's Cottage" quest in East Lapis doesn't have any tooltip on the map to show you where to find it. The only clue you have is East Lapis, which means you know the area is in the east.

PostsThe area is quite far and you need to at least handle level 20+ enemies with ease. Although, if you play with a party, things do get easier. Here's how to find East Lapis and finally get the Loom up and running at your base.
East Lapis Location
The closest fast travel point or Ancient Spire would be the Nomad Highlands, so once you have unlocked this fast travel point, or you are near the vicinity, you must head slightly to the South and then to the East, as shown in the image above. Cutting directly through the mountains is almost impossible, so you need to go along the long route.
When you reach the area of East Lapis, the village you need to find will resemble an old ruinous town in the desert, and you'll find multiple enemies greeting you at the entrance. It is recommended to pick them off one by one because there's a higher density of enemies inside the village.
If you see the cave passage, which has a point of interest icon on the map, you should also add a fast travel point here to make your trips quicker. This particular cave passage has an abundance of Iron Ore, Sulfur, and Luminous Growth.
Once you get inside the village and clear the enemies, your quest will update and the Loom will be pinpointed on your map. Once you have grabbed the Loom, there will be no more quests or anything of value in East Lapis unless you are looking to level up your character fast, as the number of enemies inside East Lapis makes it a bit more favorable to grind out levels.
What To Do After Finishing The East Lapis Quest
Upon finishing the Finding the Weaver's Cottage quest in East Lapis, you'll find the Loom and place it immediately in your base without the need to craft it. The Loom produces Fabric, which is needed to craft some of the best gear sets in Enshrouded, and you can use those Fabrics to create Padding.
If you want to get the best gear immediately, you'll need more than just Padding to craft them, so keep your farm running at all times and produce as much Flax as you can, since the Loom needs a ton of Linen (made by turning Flax into Linen). If the process is quite slow, double your production by adding another Seedbed used for crafting Flax Seedlings and add more Improved Water Wells too.
