11 Lennart

  • Location: He can be spotted in his home or in the village streets of Melve.

Lennart is an early game NPC who is also the Maister for the Fighter class in Dragon's Dogma 2. The skilled swordsman has served in the fortress village for most of his life. With remarkable leadership and swordsmanship skills, his utmost duty is to protect the land from the dragon.

There are many cruicial main campaign quests tied to Lennart. His related quests include Readvent Of Calamity, Oxcart Courier, Nesting Troubles and In Dragon’s Wake. If you want to unlock Fighter exclusive abilities, you will have to complete Lennart’s quests.

10 Roderick

  • Location: The NPC can be found in Roderick’s Smithy, located near the Main Plaza in Vernworth.

Roderick owns Roderick's Smithy in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For the early game, Roderick can serve as a very useful character if you are looking to enhance your weapon and armour. You can also buy a lot of early-game equipment for your Arisen.

9 Mildred

  • Location: You can find Mildred in Vernworth opposite the Stardrop Inn.

After that, when she returns, you will be able to buy her house for 20,000 gold. It's a great deal because Mildred's house is the cheapest by far, and staying at inns to save your game and recover your health will cost you more.

8 Ulrika

  • Location: Ulrika can be found in Melve and is first encountered in the Tale’s Beginning quest.

Ulrika is one of the NPCs that can serve as a love interest to the Arisen. She is also a part of many important quests, including Tale’s Beginning, In Dragon’s Wake, Readvent Of Calamity, and Home Is Where The Hearth Is. You will encounter her pretty early on in the game, and you can build your relationship with her by giving her gift items.

7 Klaus

Location: Klaus can be found in the Vocation Guild, located right under Shakir’s Inn in Vernworth.

Klaus is located in Vermund’s capital and can be interacted with if you want to change your current vocation. He serves as a clerk in the Vocation Guild, and if you are looking to unlock the advanced vocations, namely Warrior and Sorcerer, you should consider paying him a visit.

You can then take on the Frustration quest to change your vocation. He will also reward you with Wakestone Shard, which can be combined to form Wakestone to resurrect yourself as well as NPCs.

6 Luz

  • Location: The NPC is located at the reverent shrine, and you will speak to her spirit form to get the Trickster vocation.

Luz can be found in Bakbattahl and is significant for players who are looking to unlock the Trickster vocation. She is the Maister of the Trickster class and will also allow you to unlock the Theurgist’s Rite, which is necessary for getting the Dragon’s Delusion Trickster skill.

You can also get items like the Rift Incense from Luz that you can burn while camping. Her quest is called the Flickering Shadows. The Trickster Vocation is worth unlocking due to its special ability to use smoke illusions to distract enemies. It is a great support class for your party.

You will interact With Sigurd during the Readvent of Calamity quest. The Mystic Spearhand Maister hunts Dragons and trains endlessly to improve his fighting skills. You can also build a good relationship with the NPC by giving him gifts suited to his likes.

4 Glyndwr

  • Location: Glyndwr can be found in Vernworth, right next to Roderick's Smithy. After that, you can find him at the Mountain Ruins near the Sacred Arbor.

Glyndwr is one of the few elves that you can interact with in Dragon's Dogma 2. He can reward you with several Ferrystones that can help you travel to any activated Portcrystal. Unlike the other elves, Glyndwr is not as isolated and is actually looking for human-crafted bows for his archery training.
