Instead of running around randomly looking for the chests, this guide will help you save time. Track down the last few you missed in the Cinderback Ridge, so you avoid problems while ensuring you get everything you want.
Defining Chests And Bringing Fortes
Remember that chests are different from Bric-a-Bracs and treasure. You find those as glowing points on the map, while chests are wooden and colored boxes you find on the map. You’ll know you came across one if it turns yellow after you use the Scan Forte.
Speaking of Fortes, you should bring Launch and Glide to help you with navigation. As mentioned, you’ll also want to bring Scan if you struggle to see the chests while searching for them. You’ll need to use Stealth at times based on the chest, so look through the descriptions and see when best to use it.

For some reason, you're sometimes too tall to enter some of the rock caves. If you want to get those chests, bring Stealth with you just in case.
The Wooden Chests
You can access wooden chests once you arrive at the island. Some require various Fortes, so check your party before you go.
