PostsFrom completing missions to battling strong opponents, there are several methods to increase your experience points and maximize your progress. In this guide, we’ll break down the best strategies to help you level up quickly and dominate the world of Sparking Zero.
How To Raise Player Level
Almost everything you do in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero gives experience; as long as it involves a battle, you can potentially lose. Episode Battles, Tournaments, and even fighting the CPU in a customizable Battle mode give you some experience, albeit not as much as fighting a real person online.
You’ll notice the levels go up rather quickly until around level 15, where you hit a wall. You still gain experience, but these levels go by significantly slower, and since the shop only shows all its items once you are at max level, it's understandable to feel a rush to get to level 20 fast.
Wish For Levels
The fastest, most efficient way to reach the level 20 cap fast, is to wish for levels when you collect the Dragon Balls. Some editions of the game already come with a use of Shenron or Super Shenron available from the start, giving you a nice boost in your leveling adventure.
You can also do side quests and other content to gain the Dragon Balls, and since said content is already giving you experience, you will be constantly working towards your goal. As you first start the game, there are some easy ways to get your first set of Dragon Balls:
- The Earth’s Dragon Balls can be rewarded by Whis, as you do some simple tasks for him. You can also gain them as random rewards for online or offline battles.
- The Namekian Dragon Balls can only be obtained through online or offline battles, as random rewards.
- The Super Dragon Balls are rewarded after hitting certain milestones in Episode Battle, like completing Goku’s story or other end game challenges.
In our experience, it only took two wishes to get to max level through minimal effort: a wish from Shenron, gained through Whis, and a wish from Super Shenron, gained after completing Goku’s story.
If you already used the easy-to-access wishes, you’ll need to farm for your Dragon Balls. You’ll notice that the Namekian Dragon Balls can only be gained through battles; that’s because they are better, giving you three wishes instead of one.
