Summary
- Sanshee has revealed Manfred and Assan plushes and pins with a little more than a week to go until Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
- Manfred's plush design hasn't gone down well with Dragon Age fans, and not just because it costs $41.99.

It's almost Halloween and to a lot of you, this year that means one thing and one thing only - Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a little more than a week away. Ahead of its highly-anticipated launch, a couple of plushes and pins have been revealed at Sanshee and are available to pre-order ahead of The Veilguard's launch. However, some Dragon Age fans aren't all that impressed with Manfred's plush design.
News that two Dragon Age characters have been turned into merch ready for The Veilguard's release has been shared on the series' subreddit, and excitement at the realization that Manfred and Assan are now plushes quickly turned to disappointment for a lot of you. Many of the responses to the post have noted Manfred's plush doesn't accurately reflect the skeletal assistant's in-game design.

Posts 1Sanshee's Manfred plush has been described as looking "low effort" by some, and with it costing $41.99 when combined with its matching pin, it's unsurprising quite a few people will seemingly be giving it a miss. It has been noted that even though Manfred's plush isn't necessarily faithful to how he looks in the games, it does fit the "humanoid template" Sanshee uses for most of its other bipedal character plushes.
Manfred And Assan Have Been Turned Into Plushes And Pins By Sanshee
One Of Them Is A Lot More Popular Than The Other
CloseEven though the Assan plush and pin set is just as expensive as the unpopular Manfred one, Dragon Age fans don't appear to have any such issue with what Sanshee has done to The Veilguard's griffon. Not bound by the restrictions of being human-shaped, Sanshee's Assan plush is far more unique and closer to how the creature will look in The Veilguard. Nothing but positive reactions to the Assan plush as far as I can see with people prepared to pay its lofty asking price.

Both Assan and Manfred's plushes are available now exclusively at Sanshee. Even though they are listed as pin and plush sets, the $41.99 price tag is just for each plush. There are checkboxes below the "add to cart" button on each store page that let you select whether you want the plush, the pin, or both. The pins are $12.99 each, but if you buy a matching pin and plush, you get the pair for $46.73, $8.25 less than if you were to buy a pin and a plush separately.
