The world of Diablo 4 is bleak and filled with despair, and its numerous side quests often explore the darker areas of Sanctuary, with stories about grotesque monsters kidnapping children or towns making sacrificial offerings to Lilith, tearing families apart in the process.

In Scosglen, you may come across the A Sodden Pact quest chain, with starts with Whispers from Below and continues into A Sodden Pact, Untangling Truths, and Threads of Envy. These quests have you investigate and deal with mysterious deaths near the small town of Marowen. Below, we'll take a look at the second quest in the chain, the titular A Sodden Pact, and go over how to complete it.
A Sodden Pact Quest Walkthrough
The quest A Sodden Pact begins as soon as you complete the first quest in the chain, Whispers from Below. As soon as the quest is accepted, head to the area to the east of Marowen and speak to Roina.
She will ask you to gather five Wight hairs that are scattered throughout the area, found by interacting with Sodden Growths These objects can be difficult to identify; they blend in with their surroundings and can even spawn in random locations. Use the map in the image below to locate all five hairs.
Remember that you may not find a Sodden Growth in each of the circled areas, as they can spawn randomly. Check each one and you'll eventually find all five.
Once you've gathered all the hair, investigate the area to the west by jumping across to the small island of the shore. Speaking to Roina here will end the quest, rewarding you with Scosglen Renown, gold, experience, and a piece of equipment. The next quest in the chain, Untangling Truths, will also automatically begin.
