With such an interesting assortment of characters, you may begin to wonder which of them you are most like. Well, zodiac signs may be a good way to assess that.

12 Mr. Tansu - Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Businesslike, But Capable

Unique in the story of Delicious In Dungeon, Mr. Tansu seems all too eager to do the research his employers pay him to do, but unlike most of the other characters, he seems more reserved when it comes to emotions.

This push towards sophistication and stoicism seems all too similar to the aspects that most Aquariuses embody. Eccentric in what they enjoy, much like Mr. Tansu is in his research in the dungeons, Aquariuses are sometimes called calloused but are actually just more reserved unless they're directly involved in their passions.

11 Falin - Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Sister, Mage, And Chimera?

Also referred to as 'the maiden,' Virgos are often considered incredibly caring, intelligent, but often shy when not around those who they've known for a long amount of time. Falin seems to embody these aspects quite well.

Viewers and readers may not get a lot of Falin first-hand, as much of the adventure is about rescuing her, but what they do see is a quiet and well-meaning person with an impressive ability when it comes to magic. Virgos, too, often hide impressive talents behind a layer of shyness.

All of this is before her unfortunate transformation, of course.

10 Izutsumi - Aries (March 21 – April 19)

The Cursed Beast-Person

A later addition to the main party, Izutsumi is a beast-person who has been afflicted by various dark magic curses. She has quite an introduction to the party, attacking them and then being picky with some of Senshi's cooking fairly early after meeting them.

Izutsumi is best aligned with that of an Aries. Headstrong, confident, if not a bit compulsive from time to time, they are often considered one of the more energetic and forward of the signs. Izutsumi embodies all of these early on in the relationship with the party, and while she is welcomed in, she does cause some friction with the other members.

9 Chilchuck - Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Serious And Skillful

A key member from the beginning, Chilchuck is the party's trap and lock-picking aficionado. With such expertise comes a unique personality, too. One that best aligns with the Taurus sign and its characteristics.

Taurus is one of the most well-rounded yet more stubborn of the signs. Tauruses are sometimes called headstrong, but that all comes from their confidence in their own abilities, especially where their passions come into play. Such as with Chilchuck and traps (or mimics).

8 Kabru - Leo (July 23 – August 22)

A Leader In His Own Right

Leo's are often considered the most 'leader-like' of the signs due to their confident outer nature and their ability to adopt the role of the problem-solver when things get hectic. While many of the different parties in Delicious In Dungeon have their own leaders, few embody the Leo personality like Kabru.

Kabru is the leader of his own adventuring party that sometimes runs across Laios and the rest of the main group. Although those who read the manga may see more of him, the anime still gives a clear picture of his personality. He is a cool-headed individual to most, but actually has fierce ideals and isn't afraid to charge into battle when his companions are in trouble.

This can be seen mostly in his group's battles, either with the transformed Falin or the corpse retrievers.

Capricorns are one of the more even-keeled signs out there, seemingly effortlessly balancing intelligence with emotion. While there are plenty of characters in Dungeon Meshi that have their moments on either side, Namari seems to be the perfect balance of this temperament.

She tries her best at every task, no matter if it's dealing with creepy vines or trying to calm down members of different parties. 6 Shuro - Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Samurai And Former Party Member

Shuro is a character in Dungeon Meshi who doesn't appear as much as the others. A former party member of the protagonists' group, he left to try to save Falin on his own accord, starting a group of his own in the process.

He is best paired with the Sagittarius sign for a few reasons. The first of which is his intelligence. He approaches problems with logic more often than not. He is well-mannered and well-spoken for someone who faces monsters daily and sees someone close to him eaten by a dragon. All of these are the main characteristics of Sagittariuses, especially how they approach problems.

5 Marcille - Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Sorceress And Skeptic

Marcille may have her moments of tension, but she is kind and often more than happy to help out the team. It is how she approaches others that you can see why she is best aligned with the Gemini sign of the zodiac.

In many ways, she has two different personalities. One of which is the kindness and care she shows towards her party members, namely her relationship with Falin. It is also the stubbornness and anger she shows them too, especially early on when the concept of eating (and wearing) monsters is concerned. It is this binary that makes Geminis who they are.

4 Sissel - Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Mad, Or Misunderstood

Sissel, or The Mad Mage as he is often referred to, is the antagonist for most of the adventure. Mysterious, scheming, and willing to do anything to get his way, Sissel can best be related to the Scorpio sign, although in the worst ways.

Scorpios are often considered one of the most ardent of the signs, both in a good and bad way. They are incredibly caring for those close to them, to the point where they can only focus on these passions. Sissel takes the form of a Scorpio pushed to the edge and hell-bent on achieving one goal.
