Nina used to live on Coral Island with her family many years ago, just like your grandparents. She left in her adult life, but returns to vacation in Starlet Town over summer. In your first year, you won't meet her until then.
By winter, she'll move back to the Island, which makes it easier to befriend her. She lives in the Abandoned Villa by the beach, and can often be found spending time with Alice, Suki, and Lily, her close friends.
Nina is very humble despite her wealth. Her extensive education makes her quite knowledgeable, and she's a notorious flirt.

Nina's Heart Events
You'll get to know Nina better through heart events, which unlock sequentially as you increase your hearts with her. Each heart event can be triggered the day after reaching the number of hearts required, and conditions like weather can delay events.
Some events require mail to arrive before triggering the event.
One of the letters is from Millie asking you to visit the library, so be patient if the event hasn't triggered yet.

After you reach eight hearts, you can confess your feelings to Nina with a locket to unlock the last two hearts. You must see each heart event in order to have a marriage proposal accepted.
