Coral Island is the perfect game to live out your farmer dreams—if you have ever dreamed of being a farmer fighting a giant corporation while restoring the local environment to its former glory, that is. If that's not a selling point for you, then a romance with a cute, alternative girl might change your mind.

Those pesky flyers are polluting the water. Someone should really do something about it.
PostsYuri is one of the residents of Starlet Town. Despite her tough exterior with her signature alternative girl look, she is a very nice and surprisingly peppy character, which only adds to her layers. A romance with Yuri might just be what your new home sweet home in this tropical paradise is missing.
Who Is Yuri?
Yuri is one of the dateable bachelorettes in Coral Island. She is one of two doctors working in the only clinic in Starlet Town. She is a well-traveled person, as she spent most of her 20s traveling to remote areas on poorly paid assignments, gaining an impressive amount of field experience as a result.
Now she is living on Coral Island, a mere boat ride away from her birthplace, the town of Tosaka. She is roommates with Millie, the local librarian. She and her coworker, Charles, are Yuri's closest friends. She also seems to be close with Bree, as they chat frequently.
Yuri's Schedule
Yuri spends most of her time working in the clinic, as you might guess. When she is not working to keep the Coral Island residents healthy and safe, she can be found wandering around town. Yuri loves to play pool at Fishensips, as well as chess at the Beach Shack.
She moves around quite a bit, so you're just as likely to find her on her way somewhere than at specific locations. Nevertheless, Yuri has a schedule like all other residents do.
Yuri's regular schedule is quite similar across all seasons, with the biggest variation in it being during spring. The reason she can be found around town so often is probably because she spends a lot of time en route to the few places she frequents.

What Gifts To Give Yuri
Yuri has her own unique flair and this reflects on the gifts she likes. Or rather, it is more accurate to say it reflects on the gifts she does not like. While most NPCs tend to favor receiving flowers as gifts, Yuri hates flowers.
It is especially helpful to know that if you intend to begin romancing her from the moment you get to Starlet Town. Trying to complete the tutorial mission to craft a Flower Bouquet and give it to someone as a token of friendship will backfire if you choose Yuri as the recipient.
It's best to stick to other gifts if you want to woo her.
Building a relationship with Yuri is not more difficult than it is with other NPCs, though, despite this curve. These are the gifts Yuri favors, and those you should avoid at all costs:

Yuri's Gifts To You
Once you are on your way to achieving a good relationship with MD Yuri, you might be surprised by sporadic gifts in the mail from her.
Gifts from NPCs will usually come randomly, though some islanders will only send gifts under specific conditions such as having a certain Town Rank. There are also some gifts that are locked behind specific seasons.
Yuri might send three gifts in total, out of which two are locked behind special conditions, while there is another one that has no conditions whatsoever:

Green Curry
She will only send this during the fall and you need to have a Town Rank of E or above.

What Are Yuri's Heart Events?
Like all romanceable islanders, Yuri has a handful of heart events that serve as milestones to mark the progress in your relationship. No two NPCs in Coral Island are the same, so triggering these heart events to see each cut scene has a specific set of requirements each time.
Most of Yuri's heart events are fairly complex. They are separated into multiple parts that activate in different parts of town.
