With the ranked system focusing on Resurgence, Call Of Duty: Warzone's meta is now more varied than ever before. Lots of weapons are seeing play time in ranked lobbies, making it hard to decide which one to master first. Luckily, we found one of the best contenders on this long list.

If you're going for the minimum time to kill possible, the AMR9 is the weapon you'll need to unlock and max out to succeed, especially in Resurgence. The AMR9 is still the fastest killing weapon in the game up until the 20m mark if you hit all your shots, which is not very hard to do.

How To Unlock The AMR9

To unlock the AMR9 SMG, you just need to hit rank 55 in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which is easily obtainable by playing the game in multiplayer matches; anything like completing challenges and winning Battle Royale matches will also add to your overall rank.

If you don't own Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, you can take advantage of Lockdown or Plunder playlists and level up almost as fast as in multiplayer. After unlocking it, you'll need to max it out immediately to access all the attachments. To do it, just play with the gun and level it up.

If you're a really casual Resurgence player, just pick it up from the ground every time you see it while you play your matches; you'll max it out in less than five or six sessions. Although it won't feel as good without the attachments, it's still the fastest-killing SMG in the game; you'll do alright.

The Best AMR9 Loadouts For Resurgence

Considering that thenew season focuses entirely on Resurgence, we'll focus on load-outs to dominate those lobbies. The AMR9 is one of the best guns in the game, with mobility being its only downside, and we created three load-outs to make it as snappy as possible.

The Close-Range Meta Loadout

While the AMR9 kills extremely fast, its sprint-to-fire speed is not good at all. If you're an aggressive mobile player, this clunky feel will get in the way during the majority of gunfights.

We'll try to remedy some of this with this loadout, which we think is one of the contenders in the close-range meta conversation in Resurgence.

First, you'll start by attaching the Zemnh35 Compensated Flash Hider; this will help you control recoil a little bit while reducing the range of your minimap ping whenever you're shooting your gun.

For the underbarrel, we chose the DR-6 Handstop; it'll greatly compensate for that clunky, sluggish feel of the gun without attachments.

Regarding magazine size, the 50-round magazine is the way to go for this and most setups. The 100-round magazine greatly increases ADS time; that alone will make you lose many 1v1 scenarios.

Now, for the stock, the Demo D50 Buffer Tube helps a ton with all the mobility issues of this gun. With this setup, any 1x scope will work; choose the one you like best.

This build is perfect for that fast, flashy playstyle we all love from Call Of Duty. While it's not the most mobile of weapons, the low time to kill makes up for it. On top of that, the range of this thing is pretty ridiculous, almost not fare, considering it's a small machine gun and not an assault rifle.

Call Of Duty: Warzone - Beginner Strategies For Warzone's Battle Royale

If you're jumping into Warzone in 2024 for the first time, here are some useful tips and strategies that you and your teammates should know.

Posts

The Sniper Support Loadout

Sniper mains will love the AMR9 as their secondary; while it is the fastest killing automatic gun from zero to 20 meters, after that first damage drop off, it remains pretty competitive with most meta assault rifles.

This build is perfect for an all-rounder alternative to serve as a sniper support secondary weapon.

For the barrel, you'll take the Nimbus-6 Integrated Suppressor; this attachment will help extend the range of this gun, making it the fastest killing automatic weapon up until 28 meters.

You'll also attach the DR-6 Handstop to the underbarrel slot; this will help the gun feel snappier without compromising too much accuracy.

The 50-round magazine is also the chosen one for this setup; while the 100-round magazine is completely viable if you're focused on sniping, it's still too slow for the closest-range gunfights in Resurgence.

For the stock, you'll use the D50 Demo Buffer, which will help with mobility a lot. Again, any 1x scope will work for this setup.

This setup is pretty similar to the last one, but it focuses more on range; this will help snipers get those finishes with ease.

It'll also be completely viable to push buildings with it if you're deliberate with your positioning and movement while doing so. And don't forget, you'll be able to outgun meta assault rifles from 20 to 25 meters away with this thing.

The Long-Range Alternative Loadout

While the AMR9 kills fast through the first 20 meters, it's also one of the most dominant weapons in the game past the 45-meter mark.

Although it doesn't seem too logical, considering it is a smg, you can take advantage of this and make it a long-range beast with this next setup.

First, you'll use the Nimbus-6 Integrated Suppressor for the barrel; it'll increase your range and take you off the minimap.

Now, for the stock, we'll use the Hellbound Carbine Stock, as it'll help you control the recoil at longer ranges. As the scope, we chose the Corio Eagleseye 2.5; it's a game changer for long-range fights.

For the underbarrel, you want the trusty Bruen Heavy Support Grip due to its focus on horizontal recoil, which is the one ruining your sprays at long range.

Now, for the magazine, you'll use the 100-round Drum; the 50-round magazine is also good if you perceive this one as too sluggish. Having 100 rounds gives you a lot of flexibility, though. Pick your poison.

This setup will serve players with a need for long-range firepower.

Although you cannot wallbang enemies with this gun, it's easy to control at long range, and while it feels slow during short-range gunfights, because it is a small machine gun, its mobility feels great for a long-range gun.
