Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has finally been unveiled, with the first proper trailer confirming that it will be with us this Fall. However, the first episode will actually be available to view this week - if you're attending Anime Expo in LA.

It's just been confirmed that the first episode of Edgerunners 2 will be showing at Anime Expo, alongside a panel with at least one of the voice actors. This means that, presumably, clips of the premiere will make their way to social media, giving us a look at the first episode way earlier than intended.

As per the announcement, the preview will take place this Friday at 7:30pm PT, at Anime Expo in LA.

The announcement for this Anime Expo panel invites attendees to "watch the premiere of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Episode 1," which definitely makes it sound like they will see the full episode. There's a chance that this is just the opening of the episode - so the premiere of the premiere - but either way, fans aren't looking forward to dodging spoilers.

To make matters worse, we don't even have a specific date for when Edgerunners will be made available to watch on Netflix. All we know is that it will be with us sometime this Fall, which means we could be left waiting months while Anime Expo attendees have already seen the first episode in full.

However, there is a chance that the episode will premiere online at the same time, or that the panel will be livestreamed at the very least. We're still waiting for definitive answers, but if that's the case, we'll be able to watch it in some form if we don't feel good about our chances of avoiding spoilers.

In the run-up to its premiere on Netflix, we can at least expect some more trailers. We haven't even been introduced to the new gang yet, as there's one figure who is being kept under wraps - although fans think they've already figured out who they are.
