Here is everything you need to know about Black Beacon as a beginner.

All of the current five-star characters are actually pretty good and fun to play. One character that stands out among the others is Li Chi, mainly because of how fun he is to play and, of course, how difficult. He has a confusing kit, so here we will guide you on how to play Li Chi effectively.

Li Chi Is An S-Tier Character

Li Chi, a thunder element DPS, is arguably an S-tier character. He excels in boss battles, but his playstyle is a little confusing, which may lead to failures more often. You have to understand how this character works.

He loses health and gets stronger, so you would have to be a little more careful when using him. He has the potential to be the best boss killer in the entire game, so do not underestimate him. Li Chi is a high-risk, high-reward character. You would need to develop a strong team that can keep him alive during the battles.

You can get Li Chi by just spending 30 keys on the Mortal Wanderings banner.

Best Weapon For Li Chi

Of course, the best weapon for Li Chi is going to be his signature five-star sword Zhupi. Its base stat increases health by 10.8 percent. Whenever Godfall Fury is activated, Li Chi will gain a ten percent bonus to the Critical Hit Rate. The Crit Rate will increase more if there are enemies with Butterfly Shadow around.

Upon defeating an enemy with the Butterfly Shadow, an explosion will be caused, dealing 100 percent of regular attack damage. Li Chi will also inflict Butterfly Shadow on the enemy.

However, if you don't have his signature weapon, then there is a pretty good four-star alternative. You can use Indigo Shadow - Enhanced, which increases the HP by 5.4 percent, or you can use its three-star version.

Skill Priority For Li Chi

We recommend upgrading Lord of Weaponry Return as a priority. This is Li Chi's passive skill, and it matters the most to increase the damage output. Do note that this character revolves around Godfall Fury, and as he doesn't use basic attacks when using this move, we don't recommend upgrading them.

So, upgrading the basic attacks may be a waste. Blood Piercing and Sweeping Blow will be upgraded upon upgrading the first skill. You can upgrade the rest of his skills, but focus mainly on his passive, as that contributes most to the damage output.

Li Chi's Potential And Talents

Li Chi will arguably become a completely different beast if you can reach his max potential by getting dupes, but that is not recommended, mainly because it is not realistic for a F2P player to get seven copies of a character. It may be possible, and if you are a hardcore Li Chi fan, then by all means go for it.

Reaching P5 may be enough, so if you don't want to get the last one, that's fine, too. He has five talents, and they are pretty self-explanatory. His talents allow him to get even more powerful as he loses health. Li Chi's third talent increases his overall health, while the fifth talent increases his Critical Damage by 15 percent.

Li Chi's Skills

His skills are a little confusing, so we will try to explain them as easily as possible. You need to focus on increasing the Battle Will Points. You can increase ten by doing a basic combo, so do that once or twice and then start using his second skill, Rite of Thunder.

If you perfect dodge an attack from the enemy, perform an attack yourself, and you will gain Battle Will Points.

Each attack from this skill will give you 30 Battle Will Points, but also take 20 percent of your health. However, if your health is below 55 percent, you won't lose it anymore. That said, as soon as your Rage Meter is full, you will be able to use Godfall Fury.

This is Li Chi's main attack that deals massive damage. However, do note that butterflies will make contact with you in this stage, so press the basic attack button when it is done to activate a special attack, Tianli Arts: Evil Breaker.

When the rage meter is empty, Li Chi will jump back and will be vulnerable for a little while. This is when enemies can hit you. So, as soon as you recover, it is best to switch out your character. However, if the ultimate attack, Thunderstorm Fury, is already charged, you can use it.

This skill will recover Li Chi's health and, of course, deal damage to the enemies. He will summon some afterimages, and each time the afterimage hits the enemy, Li Ci will gain ten percent of his lost HP back.

Li Chi Best Teams

If you want to use Li Chi to destroy bosses, then you can play him with Hephae and Azi. Make Hephae or Azi your first strike. If you don't have Hephae, you can use Logos or Asti instead. Azi is going to be the game-changer in this team as she can reduce the enemy's resistance, which will help you deal a lot more damage.

Logos is a pretty solid healer, so feel free to use this character with Li Chi if you have her. However, she may not be that compatible with Li Chi, so if you have Asti, it is better to use her as a healer. She also gives a lot of Crit Damage.

Hephae is also a solid character in this team as she can shield a lot of damage. If you want to make Li Chi an overall good DPS character, then you can also use Zero and Ninsar with him. Both are pretty good characters. Zero can give Li Chi more critical damage, which will further boost his damage, and Ninsar will make him take less damage.

Your character won't do big numbers with just this team. You would, of course, need to level him up and the other character,s and focus on their skills and Ancient Marks.

Li Chi's Ancient Mark

Ancient Mark is the most important part of a character's build. They are just like artifacts. You can use Nourishing Wings and Dragon Essence as the two sets. You need to focus on Crit Damage and Health as the main stats.

Li Chi will get a lot of Crit Rate from his skill and the Nourishing Wings set. This set gives the wielder a three percent Crit Rate if they lose health, and it can be stacked three times. You should get around ten percent Crit Rate as a stat. So, your primary focus should be on Health and Critical Damage, and your secondary focus on Crit Rate and Attack.

Try to get HP on every piece you get.

You can select the artifacts' own substats, so that is a major plus point in this game and makes it easier to build characters.

How To Play Li Chi

Your main aim is to get 100 Battle Will Points or complete the Rage Bar as soon as possible. Start the battle by marking your target with Butterfly Shadow using Blood Pierce. Then gain Rage by using your basic attacks and Rite of Thunder skill.

Be aware that you will lose health when using Rite of Thunder, and your character will be at around 50 percent health before you know it. So, as soon as you activate Godfall Fury, do not drop your guard and dodge the attacks that are coming your way.

Make sure you time your attacks with the butterflies to deal a lot more damage. Now, when Godfall Fury ends, swap out your character or use your ultimate skill if it is charged.

Li Chi's talent number 2 is perfect when fighting against bosses. It lets you stack a rage meter after you have used Rite of Thunder three times.
