Saving everyone from the Iron Throne in Baldur's Gate 3 requires absolute precision. You have to make the most of every move because you're straddled with a timer the moment you step off the submarine into the underwater labyrinth.

Explorer grants you eight turns, Balanced six, and Tactician/Honour five.

But there is a cheeky exploit that lets you bypass the timer altogether, giving you ample room to free Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard and all 13 of the trapped Gondians before the entire complex explodes.

As explained by u/kalik-boy (and discovered by u/ProxyGateTactician), all you need to do is stack a few crates to the ceiling of the submarine, climb on top, pop an invisibility potion, and leap through solid metal into the prison.

"The reason I used an invisibility potion is because if you don't, Omeluum, assuming he's still alive, that is, will talk to you as soon as you land on the ground, and this will trigger the countdown," they explained. "But if you are invisible, you are free to explore the prison."

Larian didn't exactly plan for players jumping through solid matter, so exploring the prison before the timer is activated is a bit janky. You can open the cells, but none of the prisoners will try to escape unless they see a Sahuagin and combat is triggered. So, u/kalik-boy suggests killing every enemy and only leaving a single weakened Sahugin alive to follow you around while you free the prisoners.

But even then, two prisoners won't try and escape; Obelia will only try once the timer is triggered, and Santoria—who is tied to a chair—will only run to the submarine once thrown to the ground. The best course of action, then, is to free everyone with the one enemy trick, throw Santoria to the ground, and then trigger the timer, thus saving all the prisoners without having to worry about your turns being restricted.

Omeluum is also bugged, so he's best saved for when you trigger the countdown, since you can escape together with his teleportation ability.

Sure, it's a bit of a cheesy method, but as many commenters point out, this should make braving the Iron Throne a lot less risky in Honour Mode, and a lot less frustrating on repeat playthroughs.
