With Season 2 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers, you can play as Vegeta, the Prince of All Saiyans, before he became a good guy/anti-hero. However, you don't get to start as Vegeta, but as a lowly Saibaman, who's relatively weak. With that in mind, you may find it challenging to reach the higher forms and win.

Instead of hoping for the best, you want to understand how to play the character, so you'll perform well and not let the survivors defeat you. You'll quickly learn that Vegata struggles to do well early on, but he becomes powerful later. Learn the best strategies to survive and take out your enemies.
Vegeta's Passive Abilities
Unlike other raiders, each of Vegeta's forms has varying passive skills, so you'll want to look at them each to understand what you should expect from the form.
Saibaman
Skills
Description
Wall Kick
You can press the jump button to kick off the wall and launch yourself in the opposite direction.
Shared Intel
You can see survivors who approach a buried Saibaman.
You're only wasting your time at this point.
If the Saibaman runs out of HP or doesn't evolve fast enough, Nappa will replace the Saibaman, moving to the second form.
Self-Destruct
You can grab a survivor, self-destruct, and evolve to the second form.
You can only upgrade Wall Kick or Shared Intel out of the four passives. If you want to put any points into Saibaman's passives, you should go with Shared Intel since you'll increase your odds of finding Survivors. However, you'll probably want to use your Skill Points elsewhere.
Nappa
Skills
Description
The soil here looks perfect for growin' some Saibamen...
Nappa gains Evolution Energy and can use the active skill "Call Sibaman" if you successfully leveled the first form.
You'd better make this fun for me.
You get more Evolution Energy when you damage a survivor.
I have no use for a Saiyan who can't move!
If you run out of HP or take too long to level up, you'll automatically evolve to Vegeta, the third form.
This is another situation where you won't want to spend your points on these skills. If you want to level any of them, you should go with "You'd better make this fun for me since you'll fight enemies often."
Vegeta
Skills
Description
Nothing could possibly stand in our way!
You have a lower cooldown time for your Power Ball ability. You also get access to Call Nappa if you leveled up your previous evolution.
Burst open and mix!
You can create an artificial moon from a Power Ball that transforms you into a Great Ape.
Power of a Super Elite
Your Power Ball active lowers in cooldown whenever you harm a Survivor.
There's no moon!
You swap the "Give me even greater power!" Shenron wish with "Show me the full moon!" It restores some health and turns you into a Great Ape.
Since you can't power-up the first two, you could put some Skill Points into Power of a Super Elite. Doing so will help you transform faster since Vegeta can't transform by normal means.
Vegeta (Great Ape)
Your Great Ape form only has one passive: Here's the finisher! It makes it so you can't take any damage unless someone attacks your tail. You also can't power up this skill.

Regrowth works as a solid teleportation tool. If you can't find any Civilians or Survivors near you, use it to go to a new location. As for Acid, you'll want to hold onto it until you get close to a Survivor, so you'll land an attack on them.
You'll use the Scouter a ton since it works as an effective way to find people. Nappa and Vegeta can also passively detect Ki, but Scouters will point you in the right direction. Use it whenever you can't find survivors. You can also use Call Saibaman and Call Nappa to search in a different direction while you look for Survivors.
Plant Saibaman works best for key locations. For example, if you discover a Power Key, you can place a Saibaman next to it or next to a Survivor you recently knocked down.
Ki Explosion and Explosive Waves are the standard get-off-me tools you come across. Use them if one of the Survivors gets you in a combo to deal damage and give you room to use your Super Attacks.
You can only use Power Ball once it gets off cooldown, so you must chase enemies and survive until then.

Vegeta's Super Attacks
You also have additional attacks you can use with characters to deal damage.
Saibaman (First Form)
Unfortunately, Saibaman has no attacks, so you must rely on your active and passive skills to level up.
Nappa (Second Form)
Super Attacks
Cooldown
Description
Murder Grenade
15 seconds
You launch a Ki Blast with an explosion at the end.
Break Cannon
10 seconds
You fire a powerful energy blast from the mouth.
While none of these attacks is anything to write home about, they get the job done and have a low enough cooldown to utilize them during combat. You'll want to use Murder Grenade while chasing people and Break Cannon when the Survivors rush you in their D-Change forms.
Vegeta (Third Form)
Super Attacks
Cooldown
Description
Finish Breaker
20 seconds
Fires off dozens of Ki Blasts that track nearby opponents.
Galick Gun
10 seconds
You shoot a single beam of energy forward.
Both attacks work best if Survivors rush you down and want to attack. Since they can run away or hide before you use either attack, you'll find it challenging to chase them down. Luckily, your standard Ki Blast works great for tracking enemies, so stick with that if they're running away.
Great Ape Vegeta (Fourth Form)
Super Attacks
Cooldown
Description
Super Mouth Cannon
60 seconds
A powerful laser you aim in a specified direction.
Running won't save you!
45 seconds
You hop into the air and send a shockwave across the ground that launches enemies into the air.
The Great Ape has long cooldowns, but the moves are powerful. Generally speaking, the survivors will struggle to take you down if you reach this form. You'll quickly take them out, and they can only damage your tail.
Vegeta's Gameplay Loop
Even though you'll automatically get out of the Saibaman and Nappa forms if you take too long or lose your HP, you should avoid that. Otherwise, you'll lose an active skill, making it harder to track people.
Scavenge the area with the Saibaman and focus on Civilians as soon as the match starts. You need four of them to transform. You can also teleport to other Saibamen as needed. If you encounter a Survivor, try to land Acid on them to get your melee attack easily. You'll then use Self-Destruct to get level two instantly and the Call Saibaman ability.
You want to take a similar approach with Nappa, except you can use your Scouter and Call Saibaman abilities to find Survivors. You should also start looking for a Dragon Ball to hold onto so the Survivors don't get their Level four D-Change. You'll gain energy to turn into Vegeta whenever you take down survivors or civilians.
As for Vegeta, you don't get your form through traditional means since you must wait to activate the Power Ball. Keep using the Scouter and Call Nappa abilities to chase down enemies. Even though finishing them off won't get you energy, attacking enemies will, so keep chasing them down.
You'll find the form quite powerful, so as long as the Survivors don't rush you or have level four D-change, you can take most of them out. If you find yourself close to getting the Power Ball, but your enemies start attacking you, you should save your area-destroying attack to teleport away.
You can also run and hide from the level four D-change Survivor if you're within 30 seconds of getting the Power Ball. However, you shouldn't do this if the enemies got all Power Keys since they'll activate the Super Time Machine and make you lose.
Thanks to the "There's no moon!" passive, you can collect all the Dragon Balls to transform into a Great Ape. Try to get a Dragon Ball Radar to find and track enemies who have them. That way, you'll lower the Power Ball cooldown while also working toward getting all the Dragon Balls.
