More than a year on from the release of Baldur's Gate 3 and the hype for 2023's Game of the Year refuses to die down. Its creators have helped that by continually updating and adding to the game, and now they're providing a whole new way to experience it. Baldur's Gate 3's main characters, as well as some of its supporting cast, have been turned into Dungeons & Dragons miniatures so that the cast can make the jump from your video game to your tabletop adventure.

The D&D Icons Of The Realms: Adventures From Baldur's Gate range was revealed today by WizKids, and there are two items to choose from. Which one you go for ultimately depends on whether you want to guarantee you get all of Baldur's Gate 3's main character miniatures, or you'd like to leave it up to chance and let fate choose from 40 miniatures of characters that call the game home.

For those of you who prefer which characters you get to be guaranteed, there's the Character Boxed Set. The boxed set includes miniatures of seven characters even the most casual of Baldur's Gate 3 fans will be familiar with - Karlach, Wyll, Astarion, Shadowheart, Gale, Lae'zel, and Withers. Seven hand-painted figures modeled after the way they look in the game, all included the box - which costs $49.99 - and ready to leave the confines of their video game to join a world of infinite possibilities on your tabletop.

If you'd like to leave it up to chance, or you'd like miniatures of more than just those core seven characters, WizKids has also revealed its Booster Brick. Each Booster Brick contains four Baldur's Gate 3 miniatures, but they're blind boxes so you won't know which characters are inside until you get the box home and open it up. There's a chance the core seven included in the box set will be in there, but the Booster Bricks pull from a pool of 40 with other creatures and characters from Baldur's Gate 3's world potentially awaiting you, including a Githyanki, a Dark Justicar, and yes, there's a big old bear in there too. Well, a miniature one, but you get what I mean.

Baldur's Gate 3's D&D Booster Bricks can be bought individually for $24.99 each, or there's the Booster Brick bundle for $199.92 which gets you eight of them, so 32 miniatures. Both the Booster Bricks and the Character Set will be available from local game stores starting in February 2025, ensuring Baldur's Gate 3's wave of momentum will continue for a few more months yet. Alternatively, you'll be able to pre-order everything in the collection through WizKids and D&D's websites.
