Synthesizing gear for Ryza and her party is a crucial aspect of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, enabling you to craft devastating builds that will make you nearly unstoppable in the heat of combat.

While you will get a vast majority of the best gear via the Skill Tree or by simply progressing through the game's story, some of the more powerful Items are hidden away behind Supply Points or optional Quests, making them worth seeking out if you want to unlock everyone's true potential.

To start the Normal Quests that unlock the Ultimate Weapons for each character, you must first reach the game's final boss. Once you're there, you can either wait until after you defeat it or can gather them before taking it on!

Ryza - Agnes Luce

The Agnes Luce is Ryza's Ultimate Weapon and is obtained by completing the Normal Quest:Pamila's Triumphant Return. For those familiar with the previous installments, you already know what she's here for. Sardines. And lots of them.

Pamila's Triumphant Return Guide

To begin "Pamila's Triumphant Return," you must first reach the final area of the game, just before the final boss. Once there, Fast-Travel to the Goat Pasture Landmark, found in the Secluded Farm area of Kurken Island.

After Fast-Traveling to the Goat Pasture, open your map, and look for a Normal QuestIcon just north of the Goat PastureLandmark. Make your way to that area to greet Pamila and receive her quest to bring her 20 Sardines.

If you, for whatever reason, already possess20 Sardines, you can hand them over to her immediately and complete the Normal Quest. However, you will have to find some if you don't, but they are easy to come by, which is excellent news.

Sardines can be found using the Air Drop Survival Tool to dive underwater to explore the depths of the Kark Isles' ocean. Look for shoals of fish, swim up to them, and use the Gather option to scoop them up. They can also be found in the Barrels located in the Boden District of Kurken Island.

With 20 Sardines in your possession, return to Pamila and give them to her to receive the Recipe for the Agnes Luce and the Astral Regalia!

Lent - Liese Divider

Lent's Liese Divider is his Ultimate Weapon and is acquired by completing the Normal Quest "Samuel's Famous Sword," which becomes available after completing the Main Quest "Sobering Up."

Samuel's Famous Sword Guide

After completing "Sobering Up," head to Ryza's house and speak to Mio (Ryza's Mom) to begin the "Samuel's Famous Sword" Normal Quest. This Normal Quest involves you crafting the actual Ultimate Weapon, so you will need the Materials to do just that.

First, you must synthesize some Grand Orgen, which requires Rainbow Gemstones, Septrin, Elixers, and Neutralizers to make. Next, you will need Rock Schloss, which can easily be snagged with a Catcher's Net from the bushes outside the Small Port City Landmark in the Cleria Region.

Now all that's left is to make the Liese Divider at one of your many Ateliers with the Materials you just gathered. The Quality of the Ultimate Weapon doesn't matter. You just need to make it to complete the Normal Quest. If you use Lent a lot, we recommend making it strong!

You will need an upgraded Gatherer's Net to obtain the Rock Schloss from the bushes outside the Small Port City Landmark in the Cleria Region. You can upgrade it by using the Rebuilding system and filling out its Material Loops.

Tao - Infestio

Infestio is the name of Tao's Ultimate Weapon. It is obtained by completing the Normal Quest "Preparing for Battle Against the Philuscha," which will be found in the Underworld Orim Region'sHoly Site of Urdis area.

Preparing For Battle Against The Philuscha Guide

Open your map once you are at the Holy Site of Urdis area, and look for the Normal Quest marker on the eastern side of the town. Head there and speak to the Oren there to begin the Normal Quest, which entails you delivering three Radiant Plates to her.

Radiant Plates is a unique Armor in Atelier Ryza 3 that cannot be Synthesized until after you obtain its Recipe from a Supply Drop. Supply Drops are the Blue and Yellow Diamon-Shaped Chests you open with Keys and are littered throughout every region.

In order to obtain the Radiant Plate Recipe from a Supply Drop, you will need to open Supply Drops in Karken Isles with a Rare or Super Rare Key. Using Super Rare Keys will guarantee you a Secret Recipe, while Rare Keys will only enhance your chances of obtaining one.

There are roughly six Secret Recipes you can obtain from Supply Drops in the Karken Isles Region alone, all of which will spawn in and out randomly as you explore. Furthermore, the contents within the Supply Drop are also randomized, so we cannot point you to an exact location to obtain the Radiant Plate Recipe.

After you obtain the Radiant Plate Recipe, you must craft three Radiant Plates to finish the Normal Quest. You will need Startium, Bestial Air, Metal, and Animal Material to make the Radiant Plate. You can either make one and duplicate the other two you need or make all three.

With all three Radiant Plates in your possession, return to the Oren at the Holy Site of Urdis in the Underworld Orim Region and give them their requested items. From there, you will receive the Recipe for the Infestio Ultimate Weapon!

Bos - Lost Alucard

Bos' Ultimate Weapon is the Lost Alucard, and it can be yours upon completion of the Normal Quest, "A Special Gift from Hometown." Like all the others, you will not be able to begin this Normal Quest until after you have reached the last area of the game, just before the final boss encounter.

A Special Gift From Hometown Walkthrough

To begin "A Special Gift from Hometown," Fast-Travel to the Oren at the Holy Site of Urdis, located in the Underworld Orim Region. Once there, make your way to the Southeast portion of the town and speak with Kilo to start the quest.

Kilo mentions how she wants to learn more about Kurken Island, resulting in Ryza agreeing to give her Kurken Fruit. If you do not have enough Kurken Fruit to fill her request, Fast-Travel to the Goat Pasture Landmark in the Kurken Region, then head to the fields found just north of the Landmark.

These fields will be filled with all the Kurken Fruit you need and then some. Gather as much as you want or need, then head back to Kilo and hand them over to her to obtain the Lost Alucard Ultimate Weapon for Bos!

Federica - Maiden's Dance

The Maiden's Dance is the Ultimate Weapon for the one and only Federica, who can get her hands on it by completing the Normal Quest titled: The Recipe Sleeps at the Old Fairy Stone Silo.

As always, you must be at the game's final area before this Normal Quest pops, and you will have to Fast-Travel to the Fairystone Workshop in Sardonica to start it. Once here, enter the Workshop and speak to Alberta to get the details.

The Recipe Sleeps At The Old Fairystone Silo Walkthrough

After speaking to Alberta in the Fairystone Workshop, head to the Old Fairystone Workshop Landmark located southeast of your Atelier in the region. Before beginning this Normal Quest, the door to the Silo will be closed, but it's now open for your exploration.

However, you will need Keys, and lots of them, to get your way through every door within the Old Fairystone Workshop. Ensure the Keys you have equipped have an Adventure Trait and are at least Rare or Super Rare to ensure you can progress.

There are three rooms within the Old Fairystone Workshop, all having a door that requires a Key to get through it, and several enemies roaming around each of them. To progress to the next room, you must dispatch all enemies in each area and will need the Keys we touched on earlier.

The final room in the Workshop will have lots of books and papers all over the place, with an interactable pile of books in the middle of the floor. Pick the books up, then Fast-Travel back to Alberta at the Fairystone Workshop.

Speak with Alberta once more to receive the books you looted from the Old Fairystone Workshop, which turn out to be Recipes for your Alchemy. The Recipes include the Maiden's Dance Ultimate Weapon for Federica and the Genesis Staff Ultimate Weapon for Empel.

Dian - Diamantus

Dian's Ultimate Weapon is the Diamantus, which can be acquired by completing the Normal Quest:A Request to Investigate the Temple.

Similarly to all the others, you must reach the game's final area before the Quest becomes active. Once you've done that, Fast-Travel to the Fauree Village in the Nemed Region and speak to the Village's Chief.

A Request To Investigate The Temple Walkthrough

Upon doing this, you will be sent to explore Ruins found far northwest of the Fauree Village. These Ruins are located near the Depth Drawbridge Landmark. When here, head south until you reach a lever. Pull it to drop a drawbridge, allowing you to explore the Ruins more.

Cross over the bridge you just lowered and take the first right you encounter, then head upward until you reach a room with several bookshelves. Search the bookshelves to obtain the information you were sent there for, then Fast-Travel back to the Fauree Village and speak to the Chief.

After talking to the Village Chief, he will let you keep your findings from the Ruins: the Recipes for the Diamantus Ultimate Weapon for Dian and the Efflorescence Ultimate Weapon for Patricia!

Kala - Raventoad

Kala's Ultimate Weapon is the Raventoad and is quite possibly the simplest, yet saddest, one to obtain. This requires you to complete the Normal Mission, "A Gift to a Late Young Brother."

To begin this Normal Quest, you will need to Fast-Travel to the Windle Village in the Underworld Orim Region. Once there, head south and speak with the Oren near the gate. She asks Ryza if she can place ten Flowers on her brother's grave;Ryza accepts, thus beginning the Quest.

A Gift To A Late Young Brother Walkthrough

After receiving the Normal Quest toplace ten Flowers on the Oren's brother's grave, Fast-Travel to the Tomb of the Wave Tuner Landmark that's found just southeast of the Windle Village. When here, head to the Quest Marker and interact with the grave.

Here, you can place any ten Flowers you wish, and you will likely have far more than ten of all kinds. Select whichever ones you want, then head back to the Windle Village and speak to the Oren once more. After the dialogue ends, she will give you the Recipe for the Raventoad Ultimate Weapon!

Lila - Nevernoche

The Novernoche is the Ultimate Weapon belonging to Lila and can be hers by completing the Normal Quest titled "Protect the Line of Defense."

This Normal Quest can be picked up by Fast-Traveling to the Holy Site of Urdis area in the Underworld Orim Region. To the east of the Windle Village, you will see a Normal Quest marker on your map between the zipline.

Protect The Line Of Defense Walkthrough

Make your way to the Normal Quest marker and speak to the Oren here to start it. The Oren will inform you that he wants three Unfold Weapons, which can only be obtained via Synthesis.

Synthesizing the Unfold Weapons requires the Weapon Recipe 3 Skill from the Skill Tree, so make sure you have that unlocked before moving any further. If you have acquired it, you will need Goldoterion, Ancient Sword, Ingots, and Fuel to make the Unfold Weapons.

You can make one Unfold Weapon, then Duplicate it two times to get the amount you need, or you can make all three of them if you have enough Materials to spare.

Once you have all three Unfold Weapons in your possession, head back to the Oren and hand them over to him. Doing this will have the Oren give you the Recipe for the Nevernoche Ultimate Weapon for the lovely Lila!
