Paranoia is something no one should give in to, as it can have serious consequences. Yet, in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, it seems that several characters suffer from it, with no one around to help them.

After helping Amiable with his fear of sleeping in his house, you now find yourself dealing with a lady who is convinced that a storm is about to hit. She believes that she must prepare herself to survive it, and she asks you to retrieve three peculiar items that she insists will help weather the storm.

This quest is part of the Shivering Isles DLC.

How To Start The Coming Storm Quest

Close

Make your way to Crucible and locate a shop just to the north called Things Found. Here, you'll find the owner, Ahjazda, who you can speak to about a topic called 'Coming Storm.'

During the conversation, you'll learn that she predicts a storm will soon be upon them, and she needs to be prepared for it.

This is where you come in to help, as she needs you to retrieve three items for her.

How To Get All Three Items For Ahjazda

How To Get The Ring Of Desiccation

The first item is the Ring of Desiccation, and it can be found at the Museum of Oddities, just north of her shop.

Make your way there, and inside you’ll find Una Armina, whom you can talk to and ask for a museum tour, though this is not necessary.

However, if you do ask for the tour, she will take you directly to the ring's location, which is on the upper floor in a display case.

Just be sure she doesn’t see you stealing it, as it will likely be reported as a crime.

How To Get The Calming Pants

The second item on the list is the Calming Pants, and these can be obtained from a beggar named Fimmion. He can be found hanging around Bliss town.

When you speak to him, he will confirm he has the pants, but he won't part with them without a Sweetroll.

You can get a sweetroll from Rendil Drarara's House kitchen area, just north of Bliss.

With it in hand, head back to Fimmion and give it to him. He will then give you the Calming Pants.

How To Get The Amulet Of Disintegration

The third and final item you need for Ahjazda is the Amulet of Disintegration, and you can get your hands on it by heading to the north of the map at Milchar Fort.

After you reach the fort, go inside and make your way to the lower level, where you will find a metal door.

Interact with it to open it, then take the stairs up and go through the door to reach the Chatterhall. Inside this room, you will find a torch and three braziers.

When you try to pick up the torch, you won’t be able to, so what you need to do is use a Telekinesis spell to move the torch and then light all three braziers in the room.

Keep in mind that after a few seconds, the braziers might extinguish, so you will need to be quick in lighting all three of them.

Once you successfully do this, interact with the Diligence Crux in the middle of the room, and you will be able to pick up the Amulet of Disintegration.

How To Complete The Coming Storm Quest

Now that you have all three items, make your way back to Ahjazda and give her everything.

She will be thankful that she is prepared for 'the Storm' and will reward you with Ahjazda's Paranoia Greater Power.

If any of these items are ones you want for yourself after completing the quest, you can always buy them from Ahjazda.
