PostsMany quests also give enchanted items as gifts to use in your adventures. Naturally, some quests give amazing items that have no equals, though they're only acquirable after completing the required prerequisites.
8 Vahtacen's Secret
Reward: Robe Of The Conjurer
Vahtacen's Secret is a Mages Guild quest that has you traveling to Vahtacen, an Ayleid ruin site that the Mages Guild is excavating to search for Ayleid artifacts. Once there, you need to solve a puzzle that will open new areas to explore. Going through the newly opened areas of the ruins will lead you to an ancient artifact.
Bringing the artifact to the Arcane University will complete the quest, and you’ll get the Robe of the Conjurer as a reward. While the robe looks like a standard mage’s robe, it's significantly powerful. The enchanted garb increases your conjuration and destruction skills by ten points while bumping up your intelligence and willpower skills by seven points.
7 Accidents Happen
Reward: Sufferthorn
The Dark Brotherhood has some of the most fun quests in the game along with the best rewards. In Accidents Happen, your vampire brother Vicente Valtieri will give you the name of your target, a Wood Elf named Baenlin. He lives in Bruma, and taking him out is a simple enough task, but getting the quest's real reward requires you to make the kill appear as an accident.
If you successfully drop the mounted head on Baenlil while he is sitting in his chair, you'll be awarded the Sufferthorn dagger. The weapon looks similar to an Elven Dagger but comes with two enchantments that make it great. Attacking enemies with Sufferthorn will drain their health and strength depending on your dagger’s level.
6 The Ultimate Heist
Gray Cowl Of Nocturnal
The Ultimate Heist is the final and most challenging quest of the Thieves Guild as it has you break into one of Cyodiil’s most secure locations. It's granted that, with the higher stakes, you will get the biggest reward. The first reward waiting for you when you successfully return to the Gray Fox will be your promotion to Grandmaster of the guild.

Because it's a Bethesda game, after all.
PostsThe secondary reward for completing the quest is the Daedric item, the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal. Donning the cowl turns you into the Gray Fox and you receive the master Thief's infamy. The cowl also fortifies your sneaking skill by 25 points and lets you detect life for up to 120 feet. This is one of the greatest rewards in any quest in the game and is a thief’s ultimate gift.
5 Where Spirits Have Lease
Reward: A Mansion
The Benirus Manor in Anvil can be purchased for a super-cheap price, and you can find out why the owner wants to get rid of it so badly when you visit the home after buying it. The first time you sleep in the house, you will find ghosts waking you up. The manor is obviously unhabitable because it's haunted.
Buying the manor triggers the Where Spirits Have Lease quest, and you must defeat all the ghosts and other enemies. Completing the quests rewards you with a curse-free mansion. While you did invest some gold in attaining this reward, the manor is one of the most amazing houses in the game, and it doesn't hurt that it's so cheap.
4 Azura's Daedric Quest
Reward: Azura's Star
Azura is a Deadric Prince who will give you a quest leading you to the Gutted Mines, where you’ll have to deal with some nasty vampires. They weren't always monsters but were infected and sealed inside the mine when Azura sent them to kill vampires. The Daedric Prince wants you to end their suffering.

Posts 2Azura will reward you with the Azura's Star when you successfully defeat all the vampires and return to the Daedric Lord. This Daedric artifact works like a reusable Grand Soul Stone and is much better than the one-and-done ones you usually find. The star can’t hold the souls of NPCs but works well with all other souls.
3 Meridia's Daedric Quest
Reward: Ring Of Khajiiti
Once you reach or exceed level ten and interact with Meridia’s statue, you will be commanded to go and kill necromancers in Howling Cave. These beings are significantly strong, so it's recommended to go prepared to ensure you survive. Once all the necromancers are dead, you can return to Meridia’s statue to claim your reward.
The Daedric Prince will give you the Ring of Khajiiti for taking care of her little problem. This piece of jewelry looks great and also gives the wearer some nice effects. While wearing the ring, your speed skill will be fortified by ten points, and you’ll also have a Chameleon effect of 35 percent on you.
2 The Purification
Reward: Shadowmere
In The Purification quest, Lucien commands you to get rid of everyone in the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. Ironically, the quest is given by Ocheeva, one of the targets. She unknowingly gives you Lucien’s letter that asks for her death. The quest is straightforward, and you can go on a rampage or stealthily take out all the members.

Weapons worthy of a hero
PostsAfter completing the quest, you will be awarded the fastest horse in the game, Shadowmere. The steed is also the only essential horse within the game, which means she can’t be killed. This allows you to attack her until she is unconscious and use her as a second inventory of sorts.
1 Ritual Of Mania Or Ritual Of Dementia
Reward: Summon Golden Saint Or Summon Dark Seducer
The Ritual of Accession quest is part of the Shivering Isles’ main questline, and it only requires you to choose to become the Duke or Duchess of Mania or Dementia by killing the current one to take their place. The side you choose decides whether you activate the Ritual of Mania quest or the Ritual of Dementia quest.
Depending on your choice, you’ll need to kill Thadon or Sly to take over their throne. Once you successfully kill your target, you will get either the Summon Golden Saint greater power or the Summon Dark Seducer greater power. These Daedra are significantly strong and can fight for you for 60 seconds per day if you want, making the quest’s reward one of the best in the game.
